Panasonic 1.2 Cu. Ft. 1200W Countertop Microwave Oven - Black is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke after 5 months Broke after 5 months and Panasonic customer service was not helpful. No service repair shops anywhere close to me and they wouldn't refund my money. Now I have to send it in and go weeks without a microwave as I rely on it heavily. It doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of garbage This microwave worked fine and and did just as I wanted until it suddenly broke just after a year without me doing anything to cause it. Customer service is terrible because you have to pay $9 by phone. Otherwise you can use the online chat, but then they will tell you you have to travel to a service center. Inevitably, I'm going to incur more costs, so I'm not going to go. I'm just better to buy a new, more reliable microwave.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead after 21 months in service. I am on the website looking into service but I suspect it won't be worth fixing (out of warranty now). Will look for another brand if that is the case, as this is the second one to die on me shortly after the warranty expiration.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from MICROWAVE DIED AFTER 2 YEARS I BOUGHT THIS AFTER GOOD RATINGS FROM CONSUMER REPORTS. IT DIED LAST WEEK. I THINK ITS THE MAGNETRON TUBE. LABOR IS NOT WARRANTEED AFTER 1 YEAR. IT MAY NOT BE WORTH SHIPPING COSTS TO REPLACE THE MAGNETRON TUBE. I WILL NOT BUY THIS AGAIN.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heats fast and even, love sensor reheat First, get an inverter microwave. It's lighter and more efficient. My husband, who repaired microwaves professionally for many years, got me hooked in inverter microwaves. Secondly, this is my third NN-NS651B Panasonic microwave. They're actually rated to the wattage they state. Cheaper microwaves by other brands often overdrive the magnatrons in order to get a higher wattage - over time this causes them to burn out. This microwave has a useful lifespan of 2-3 years. Other brands - you know the "cheap" microwaves that are in the 700-900 watt range - usually only lasted 6 months...and then you have to pay to dispose of them. The only issue with this microwave is that eventually the interior paint begins to peel. We clean it regularly with hot water and a scratchless kitchen sponge, but eventually the paint just peels. We have had this happen to two of this specific model of microwave. Once the paint peels, the cavity integrity is gone so the microwave is no longer safe to use. If they could cure this problem, then it would easily be a 5 star review as I have yet to find a better non-commercial microwave. For this reason, we just installed our third microwave of this model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good choice My previous, comparable 1,100W GE microwave cooked better than this one. This one seems to be underpowered, I always have to add about 30 seconds to get the right cooking results (notorious experience, whether with soups, or hotdogs, or eggs, etc...). Just broke. Shows an error I can't decode becausa link to User Manual is breoken (below, on support site), so I can't even see what the problem is. I don't consider this microwave to be worth to try to get Panasonic's attention, I'm throwing it to the trash and already ordered different, definitely non-Panasonic one. I cannot recommend this product to anyone.
