Vionic w/ Orthaheel Rachel Orthotic Mules with Leaf Detail
I'm very disappointed in these shoes. The suede has started to peel after only wearing the shoes for a week. It's not just one area but a different area on each foot. I wouldn't buy these again and would return them if I could.
love these shoes
I have several pair of the sandals from vionic. I needed a pair for the colder months. I love these shoes. They are true to size and will be perfect with the thin dress socks.
Inferior shoe material.
I just purchased these and wore them for the first time last evening while shopping for about four hours, nothing abusive just driving and walking.
Upon returning home, I saw that a piece of the finish had ripped off on the toe exposing a very different color under layer. The sueded finish is VERY thin and the color does not go through to the under layer. This is unacceptable for a $68 pair of shoes. I hope I can return them for a refund. Vionic needs to use a higher quality materials on this shoe.
Poor Quality Upper
I purchased these in Peat and wasn't sure if they would work as I have a high instep. Lucky for me with the adjustable backstrap I could wear them, but within a few wearings the right toe started rubbing off in a pink color. A few more wearings later the left toe started rubbing off in pink. Now I don't wear them because they are embarrassing, even though they fit me great. So my cost per wear was around $10. Not a good purchase, save your money ladies!
Such a Disappointment
I want to first say that I love the comfort and support that Orthaheels provide. I own about five pairs, but don't waste your money on this pair. After only a short time, the fabric started chipping off, and I had not worn them very long at all. I feel the company should reimburse me the money since these shoes are not quality in anyway. Very disappointed!
Love them......but disappointed
These shoes are SO comfortable and attractive. However, I'm disappointed with the uppers, which after only 3 months and very little wear are flaking. There are a couple of seams on the toe box, and the thin outer layer of the material is starting to flake. These aren't cheap shoes, so I would expect the upper to be more durable.
Like wearing a shoe box
When I tried these on - the toes are so wide they look like I am wearing the shoe box they came in! Can't you design the shoes to have a more stylist toes on them and not so wide? I returned them a couple of days ago. Sorry - to much money to have them sit on the shoe rack.
Very poor quality
These shoes are very comfortable but I wore them once and the fabric chipped away on the toe and is very obvious. Very unhappy seeing how much I paid.
Rachel Orthotic Mule w/Leaf Detail and Backstrap
I would recommend these shoes to anyone who has problems with their back or legs. I can walk or stand for any given time and I don't have the pain I used to experience. My feet feel good after a days work and I don't feel any pain when I get home after working seven hours. I love the fit and comfort!
This is a wonderfully comfortable shoe to wear. I am not trudging through wet streets or puddles and I treat this shoe like an expensive brand. I like the smooth leather look, the raised stitching on either side at toe, as pictured. The strap at the heel will snug up which extends the outer end beyond Velcro. I do not find any breakdown in this shoe, the support holds the arch up in place and the knee benefits from that posture. I have many Orthaheel summer sandals and slippers but had not bought this style prior. I think the reviews of the tan suede caused me to buy the black shoe. Inside the shoe is the pebble print faux, which I would like to see changed by the mfgr. I wear a sock with this shoe but personally, I don't care for that finish and I know color wears off ugly on the flip flops and sandals. This problem needs correction as this brand has made good fit for correcting a rolling in of the ankle.
Very Poor Quality
I have these shoes along with 2 other orthaheels, all are a waste of money for plastic-man made cheap materials. They sell them for up to $100 and they fall apart in no time! Ladies, if you have foot problems such as I do with plantar fasciitis get a good orthotic insert and put them in leather shoes and sneakers, you won't be sorry!
Not worth the money
Loved the fit and comfort of this shoe but after wearing a couple of times the suede (or whatever the material is) wore off after just wearing a few times that they looked like I had been wearing them for 10 yrs.! Was going to keep them anyway because of the comfort but decided they were not worth the money so I am sending them back. Too bad, had they held up I would have consider buying more of this brand shoes but will not now.
