Not As Wonderful As First Thought
These were the 1st pair I ordered last year. I love the way they feel and help with my knees and back. BUT...the footbed is something else. These shoes are way too pricey when the footbed fades and or changes color. This problem really needs to be addressed by Orthaheel, otherwise I will have to give them up and go elsewhere....Please fix this problem...otherwise they are wonderful.

FITS A WIDE WIDTH !
So...Not only do I own a few Orthaheel sandals and just recieved the inserts, which I love! But I normally wear custom orthotics...i have bad knees. Orthoheel helps alot and i can finally wear sandals without the pain! SO...I bought these as a gift for my mother for her birthday. She wears a wide width shoe normally and her arches are FLAT! AND her knees are awful :( . I knew she would never order them herself because the shoe didnt say WIDE width. But when they arrived, she tried them on and they fit PERFECTLY!! She normally wears a 10.5 or 11 wide, so I ordered her the 11 in Orthaheel. I was SUPER happy because now she can finally wear something that gives her body the support she needs in syle !!

Poor Quality Upper Material...
I purchased these sandals in silver about 6 months ago, but the straps began to peel shortly after I bought them. The Orthaheels are very comfortable but will not purchase this sandal in the future until they change the straps to leather. Not good quality for the price!!

Like a glove
These are by far the most comfortable pair of sandals I have ever owned. I'm sorry that the weather is getting too cold to wear them. Otherwise they would be on my feet all the time. Ordered sneakers and looking forward to how they feel. As I get older my foot pain is increasing. Going barefoot is just not an option. These sandals make it feel like I am going bare foot while getting the wonderful arch support that is needed.

VERY Disappointed!
I have worn these sandals this summer. The foot bed wore off a great deal but the real problem came when I went to adjust the strap yesterday and the strap unstitched and now it looks terrible. I thought that they would wear better then this. Back to Birkenstocks!

FITS MY NARROW FOOT
Shoe fits my narrow foot, which I love. not wild about the footbed, which needs improvement. I've been wearing this shoe for about a year and it still looks great........Please.improve the footbed, bring in more shoes for the narrow foot, and more colors in this style.

Great support, poor craftsmanship.
I bought these shoes to help with pronation and support, which I feel they did in fact assist with a great deal. I found they had great support and truly did help to realign my feet as I walked. The adjustable straps across the front are great and an added bonus to achieve maximum comfortability. However, as other reviewers have pointed out, the footbed of this product is the "weakest link" that is invariably why I cannot recommend them to anyone. I have owned these shoes for under 2 months and yet the footbed material - a faux-wood design sort of covering - is starting to peel off of the front and back edges of these shoes. I am not usually on my feet for very long in these shoes: I've only worn them a couple hours at a time over the course of the ~60 days I've owned them. I'm honestly shocked and very disappointed the shoe has started to degrade this fast. I want to try other Orthaheel shoes because they DO help me with pronation, realignment, and support; this particular shoe and its construction, though, is one I'm immensely disappointed in. Very sad.

Color Rubs Off of Footbed
I received these shoes at the end of June and I wear them a 3 or 4 times a week. The shoes are very comfortable and help with my over-pronation. My one concern is that after two months the brown color on the footbed is starting to wear off and is turning a tan color, especially in the back of the shoe where my heel rests. I'm disappointed that this is happening after only two months.

TERRIBLE
Per Doctor's orders I must stop wearing these. You must wear these daily. I was alternating these with my Rykas & Clarks & now have braces on both knees & feet to try & undo the damage that was done without surgery! Beware!

good and bad
I bought a pair of these last year but did not wear them until this season. What I like about them is that I can wear them in the rain if they are in fact plastic. So I find myself wearing them often since I don't always have time to listen to the weather forecast. I don't think they are my most comfortable shoe, but they are convenient as they are slip on and go. One problem I have is that I nearly trip and fall sometimes maybe because the front of the shoe should be tipped up more. I have had that happen with at least one other pair of sandals (another brand), but I think those were worse and I finally got rid of them. Probably due to this problem, the front of the sandal is peeling away, the left sandal worse than the right, so I don't know that they will last beyond this year. One other thing is that at work where it is quiet, they tend to stick to my feet when I walk making a kissing-type sound. So to avoid that I try to wear nude foot peds, & hope no one sees.

Way to expensive
Ordered these in Feb. and did not start wearing them until a few months ago when the weather was warmer. The first few times I wore them they hurt my feet. Gave it another try yesterday and had to put ice on my foot when I got home. I have other sandals that have no support and they do not affect my foot like these. I have a pair of Skechers Tone-ups that are very comfortable and cost a lot less. Very disappointed!! I also bought a pair of Mary Janes at the same time. I wore those in the cooler weather and they were OK but not any better than other less expensive shoes that I have.
