Orthaheel Melissa Orthotic Slip-on Mules w/FloralDetails
Love Orthaheel, these are not for medium to narrow
I wear these, but have them strapped down to the smallest possible option and have to wear socks. These are supportive, just wish these were not for wide feet. Also, the elastic holding the buckle, not the best. Mine are fraying quite badly. This sound like an awful review, but these shoes get a lot of wear. :-)
Good for runners
I tested these for Runner's World magazine (friend is a reviewer and writer) and they are great for after running a race. Just ran a half marathon and they were my go-to shoe to ease the 'pain'. Wide toe bed, heel and arch support...They are expensive and could be lower in price as they are not leather, but they are built to the shape of your feet. Runs true to size.
Gray shoes scuff easily
I love Orthaheel shoes and sandals.
However, the gray shoes scuff easily and now they have a black toe. The scuff won't come off. They became play shoes already. Next time I will buy basic black.
You can't beat the comfort though.
I purchased these shoes in the summer and wear them all the time. Unfortunately, they have stretched out. I have never experienced a line of shoes that fall apart after extended wear. For the price they should last longer. They are not seasonal or disposable shoes. The initial support was perfect for my feet and they were "happy feet!" I have several sandals that did same or the foot bed wore out. I take good care of my shoes and this does not happen to other brands. Please invest in good materials to prevent the upper shoe from stretching. The stretching causes improper alignment and the pronation returns :(
I've had these a year now; I have them by the door to slip on when I walk the dogs or take out trash. Occasionally I wear them out too. They are so adorable and work with any casual outfit. I sized a half size down and they fit perfectly. They were a bit weird at first but they broke in after about a month or two (since I didn't put many miles on them)These are as cute as they look on tv. I love the purple!! Going to buy some more.
Love these shoes. So comfy out of box. Very stylish also.
not worth the $
i bought these because Shawn was so thrilled with them. there were a couple of bad reviews but i took a chance. they are now only 3 mths old the faux suede is rubbing off and the sole is coming apart. they are not in any way comparable to birkenstock. i will never buy another pair
Can't Live Without Orthaheel!
These were my first pair of Orthaheels. 9 pairs later, I am addicted to these shoes. You must try them if you spend time standing or walking at work. You will love them!
Shd be leather for the price
These shoes started out fine but in a couple of weeks the elastic was stretching out and I had to tighten them to the tightest and now the elastic has given up completely and the shoes fall off causing some tripping over them. The manmade uppers are peeling where the decorative stitching is. Sure wish it wasn't too late to return them. For the price I expected much better quality. I have had Clarks for 10 years that barely show any wear.
love my shoes,my legs feel better, since i been using them,i will get another color
Great shoe but...
I love the way the Orthoheel shoes make my feet feel! I have had plantar fasciatis and these shoes really saved my feet. I have had the Melissa since late May and am disappointed that the "fabric" is coming off around the base of the shoe. I love the fit, but I would think for the price they could be made a little more durable.
I love these shoes. They are the only shoes I can wear. My heal pain is gone. So comfy, that I also got the Gemma slippers, so I have something to wear inside or out. I will buy more, for more colors and maybe a closed heal for winter. Fabulous.
