Vionic w/ Orthaheel Jane Orthotic Mules with Floral Detail
These shoes are cute and provide the arch support that I need to help with plantar fasciitis but they are very expensive for the materials used. They need to be made in leather to justify the price. Won't be buying anymore unless they are improved.
Received these today as a gift. Right out of the box, felt a little funny. Five minutes later, I kid you not, felt like I had been wearing them my whole life! I feel like I am standing taller, straightforward, and just more aligned.
I love Orthaheels but disagree with the "size down" for half sizes. I have an extremely high arch and my foot does not become shorter in Orthaheels. I normally wear a 6 1/2 and learned by trying them on in a shoe store that a 7 is better for me with my high arch. The "size down" advice is probably correct if you do not have a high arch. All that being said, I own numerous pairs of them and have recommended them to everyone. They have also become much better looking.
I was excited to get these shoes I order 2 pairs the black and the brown. After using them for work due to they are so comfortable I was wearing the black pair and all of a sudden the velcro in one of them just broke and I have to wear and elastic rubber band to keep my shoe on until I got home. I believe this shoes are no cheap and quality should be better. I was going to order another color but not anymore after this experience.
Is now too late to return so my money went down the drain .
Best Shoes I've ever worn
I have plantar fasciitis and my feet don't hurt wearing these shoes. I can walk forever in them. Great support & definitely worth the money.
Takes a bit of getting used to, but then LOVE
I bought these in all colors except the red tone. At first the sole does taking a bit to get used to, then once you do you will see how it straightens up to walk position. I now love me and really notice a big difference in how I walk straighter with them. I fractured my foot a year ago and have had hard time walking straight since but these have help each and every time I wear them, now I don't want to take them off when I get home from work, then then I slip on my Orthaheal slippers when I do...can't live without them. I take a 8 medium width and that's what I used.
I love these shoes... I bought the bronze colored... They go very nicely with a lot of things. The fit is good. They are a little "strange" at first, as you feel like you are walking wrong - but you get used to it quickly.
These are the most comfortable shoes I own. Bought in the pewter and gold and wear them more than any other pair in my closet. I have RA and lots of trouble with my feet. These are the only shoes I am able to wear.
Excellent support and comfortable from day one!
This is my second pair of Orthaheel shoes, mainly bought to wear around the house. They are very comfortable and believe it or not, my knee pain has subsided quite a bit. I ordered a pair of sandals for wearing when I walk the dogs. The only thing I would ask, is that after looking through all your styles, you come up with a platform type shoe. I do much better when my foot is not in an incline position yet I can use the additional height. A one inch platform and a 2 inch heel is excellent. I realize that you cannot custom make shoes for just one person however, I do feel that many women could use the extra height and not have their foot in an incline position. I have several shoes with these same dimensions, which I use to walk the dogs, go to the park etc. Other than that, these shoes are great.
These are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. Wore them for a week to try and get used to the way they wear (Like they say in the presentation) a week after I returned them my feet were still hurting!
I have issues with my feet and this shoe is my new best friend. I just ordered a 2nd pair. Vionic (Orthaheel) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make more shoes in wide width. As I said, these are my new best friend. I Love Love Love them. Please add more styles to your wide width shoes. Please please please
Too pricey for not leather / Sweaty feet
I like the look of these shoes, but I missed that they weren't real leather. I don't tend to wear sock with this style of shoe and my feet sweat like crazy. My pewter pair are still in great shape and I keep them by the door for cool weather dog walking. For the price, the should be leather.
