Vionic w/ Orthaheel Jane Orthotic Mules with Floral Detail
Thought these were Leather..... Alll manmade material, which means they can't last and will most likely cause foot odoer. Not a good value, but Love the Thongs..
These shoes "kiss your feet!"
I just ordered these shoes in pewter. I have 5 pair of Orthaheel sandals. I have been waiting for a more closed in shoe from this company. I wear my Orthaheels everyday - all day. I used to have backaches by the end of a long day on my feet- but these shoes keep me from getting tired feet or backaches. I think they are the best invention since butter!
If you are looking for quality footwear that will kiss your feet everyday, these are the shoes. i get lots of compliments on the appearance of my sandals- I think because they do not look cheap or clunky - but very stylish, feminine and yet supportive. I am picky about heavy looking shoes but these are not like that. Easy to wear, easy to live in. BUY them today. You will be very happy! :-)
I have purchsed other pairs of Orthaheel and have really like them and really looked forward to this pair as I purchased them to wear as slippers during the winter months. Initially there was no issue with the mules but the more that I wore then the more the upper man made leather and straps stretched out of shape. It is now to the point that I can no longer wear them as my feet have a tendancy to slip out of the toe box and have twisted my ankles.
2nd Pair Not So Good
I've enjoyed the black ones of this style immensely. Needed another pair and
tried the blue ones. After a couple of weeks of trying to get them comfortable, I realized this shoe was 1/2" shorter than the black ones, hence not enough room in the toe box.
So said I must send them back.
I really like the wide width for the front of my foot, and appreciate the orthaheel arch/heel design as if improves posture. However, the heel section of the shoe is too wide. Somehow shoe manufacturers have forgotten that wide front of foot often goes with a narrow heel. I have to fasten the strap fairly tight to keep my heel from sliding around. There is no way I will try one of the designs that does not have a way to hold the shoe on, such as a strap. Having the heel of a shoe constantly rub up and down because the heel section of the shoe is too wide results in nasty blisters on the heel. Wish manufacturers were aware of this.
This is my first pair of the Vionic shoes. It won't be my last!! I bought these thinking that they would be ok, but not really comfortable, and probably wouldn't work for me. I am impressed! The size was perfect, and although they felt firm at first, within a few hours they felt VERY comfortable! I am able to walk several miles before my knees and ankles start hurting. The first day I wore these most of the day, but I thought I should change into my Nike's before I went to teach my class. By the time my class was done..........I was in PAIN. My legs hurt my knees, and worst of all.......my ankles were in so much pain I could barely put my feet on the ground. I LOVE Them!!!
Received my shoes yesterday and as usual very, very comfortable! Love my ortho's! Cute Mary Jane! Easily slip on and go! Don't hesitate - you will be glad you did!
Finally Cute Shoes that I can wear ALL day!
Love these shoes! They are supportive in all the right places. They are cushy and luxurious. Beautiful details in stitching and well made! I am on a budget that does not allow for this heavy of an expense, but you can not put a price on being able to walk and move around for more than an hour a day! I have planter fasciitis and have not had any luck in past with different types of shoes. I highly recommend you stop looking and just try these shoes, with QVC return policy, you have nothing to lose.
They're going back
So disappointed.... I get more support from my Payless shoes.
I didn't feel the arch support at all. Didn't straighten the alignment of my leg like they claim their shoes do. My foot kept sliding out and I do not have narrow feet. I got the 8m and I am usually 8.5 in shoes
So far so good, pewter is not the shade shown
This is the 4th pair of Orthaheel shoes that I have ordered. They really do help with knee, heel, and hip pain. The pewter color is not as bright and shiny as the silver tone shown, It is a more muted, darker color. The little video will give you a better idea of what the color is like. I usually wear a wide in other shoes, but I wear a medium in Orthaheel. With orthaheel the sole often wears well, but the uppers wear out quickly. I have had this pair a month and wear them almost daily. So far they haven't shown wear. The style and color seem to go with almost anything. I probably won't go with the backless mule style again because I'm not comfortable going down the stairs. This is a manmade upper and honestly even with special pricing on QVC, they are too expensive.
Most Wonderful Casual Shoes, EVER!
I was accustomed to ONLY wearing the high-fashion, high-heeled, incredibly high-priced beautiful designer shoes, so I was very reluctant to purchase these shoes; however, after watching QVC's presentation of these shoes, I decided to give them a try. I purchased these in August 2013 and have worn them more than I've ever worn any other shoes, so much so that they are finally beginning to wear a bit -- they are so incredibly comfortable and more durable than even most of my tennis shoes have been. I cannot wear them to my office (a high standards law office), but I unfortunately love them so much that I did way too much gardening in them, and I'm not talking about just tinkering around, I'm talking about using shovels in mud, walking through incredibly wet grass, mowing the lawn, etc. They do clean up well though by letting them first dry if you get them too wet, then wiping them off with a moist paper towel, and then using furniture polish to make them shine again (I know, sounds weird, but it works); however, I have to finally admit that they are beginning to wear too much to wear them out of my house, so I am ordering another pair today and will "try" to not torture the new ones. I'll keep the first pair for all my gardening until they just fall apart and I'll keep the new ones for when I wear shorts, capris, and other cute casual outfits. They are great for all our traveling as well, especially when I have to take off my shoes for security in airports and the closed toes help to keep my feet warm in the artic cold airplanes. Don't hesitate, buy them now before they decide to stop making them for some unknown reason, as usually happens with the best products! Oh, and as far as the fit goes, they are great. Just use the strap to make them as tight or loose as you want -- never a problem. I've also purchased other shoes of this brand and love them as well. I'm hooked!
I bought these in red 3 months ago. I wore them in the house for short periods, to get used to them. The other day, I went to the shooting range and wore them. WOW Never have I been able to stand and shoot for 1 hour, my hips, feet, legs always hurt. Not with these. They 'straightened me out' with their wonderful foot bed. I have now ordered, 2 pairs of sandals and am going to be giving quite a few of my shoes to charity.
