An Incredible Beauty
I finally purchased the coveted Sunflower pendant last week when Danny was on the air (Yay!), but when I saw this new pendant introduced the same day, I couldn't resist. I was attracted to the natural, wheat-like design on the disc and the wonderful Mother of Pearl. I have another OP medallion of a similar size (lace design), and also a pair of OP MoP earrings, so I knew before purchasing this beautiful necklace that the medallion itself as well as the MoP center would be of rare quality. Aesthetically, the medallion to me has a somewhat oriental look to it, which is a nice aspect to something that is made on the Asian continent - albeit at the Mediterranean edge. The bail is nicely detailed also, and large enough to fit different chains, The 18" chain is always useful, but this pendant might look good at longer lengths too. Lastly, it was a wonderful surprise to receive the medallion packaged in a beautiful OP gift box. I'm not sure if this is a new thing with Or Paz, or a one-time extra for this pendant, but I'm so happy to have received it. I will keep it for gifting OP items.
