H165476 - On Time Talking Atomic Alarm Clock
Fantastic clock....a little hard to figure out how to set it at first but once it has been set, it's the best clock I have ever owned!!!
Drove me crazy when I first got it...LOVE IT NOW!!
The directions are confusing at first ~ I was frustrated but I'm glad I kept at it and kept my patience. Especially glad I kept the clock. In fact I'm buying 2 more now that I "get it",(understand it) You have to keep the directions handy and keep referring to them.~ Now I love it!!
EVERONE LOVES THIS CLOCK!
I just love this clock! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! My first one was a gift a few years back and it's still going strong. I've bought several of them as gifts for all my friends and family. They, in turn, buy this clock for their friends & family.
The set up is easy. Pop in a couple batteries and be patient. It doesn't take long before the hands start turning and before you know it it's all done. Check the volume and listen to the time, date & the update.
Before QVC started carrying them, I got them elsewhere for $45 and up. You can't go wrong with the product. Everyone should get this clock.
If you want to know the correct time, this is the clock.for you.
My Five Stars and No Complaints!
I just have to speak up! I got this clock last year and had no problems setting it up, using it in my bedroom near a window. I am not technologically savvy, so if I can understand the directions, anyone can! Because the clock keeps perfect time and updates itself for the daylight savings time changes, I bought this same clock for my brother. It does take time maneuvering through the directions, but I was able to get his clock up and running. Don't let the negative reviews turn you off from this product.because you'll be so glad to have a clock that keeps accurate time, uses batteries instead of your electricity (in case of a power failure) and adjusts itself when the time changes. I highly recommend this clock to you and appreciate your time.

FINALLY updated the year and day
It took a week, but this clock finally updated the day and year - although the message still says "time not updated". I put this clock by windows, on window sills, and finally on an outdoor patio in a vain attempt to update the day and year from 2008 to 2011 (you can't set that manually like you can the time). Finally set it on the breakfast bar and ignored it for a few days. I did one final test, as it was to be returned TODAY - and the year and day were finally correct! I ordered this for my elderly Mother to help her keep track of the day of the week and her daily meds. I'm very happy that it finally updated correctly, and I'm going to keep it now, but I can't recommend the product. I should add that we also have another product that uses the Atomic Clock that works fine, so I don't think our location was the problem.
Bought this as a Xmas present for my hubby. Had a hard time getting batteries in. Directions are absolutely horrible.. Played with it for 3 hours and couldn't get it to do anything but spin and stop at the wrong time. This one got returned without hesitation.
Great Product - Does what it say's in the Demo
Once I digested the instructions that were somewhat confusing. I got it set up without incident. I would recommend it.
Hard to set
I love this clock now that it is set and working...they should give better directions and you do have to have it by a window to get it to update. It will all have to be redone when repalcing the batteries
I DID ALL THE THINGS THE LAST WRITIER WROTE AND YES MINE DID FINALLY DID TALK AFTER I SET THE VOLUME UP ON HIGH THEN HIT EVERYTHING ELSE THEY CLAIMED THEY SAID THEY DID ;;WELL GLAD THEY GOT A GOOD ONE MINE WAS JUNK;; EVEN MY HUSBAND TRIED AND STILL DIDNT WORK ;MAYBE THIS PERSON GOT LUCKY AFTER PLAYING WITH IT AND ME AND THE OTHER TWO WERENT SO LUCKY I DONT KNOW ;;ALL I KNOW IS I WAISTED NEW BATTERIES AND IT SPUN ALL NITE AND WHEN I WOKE UP IT WAS STILL SPINNING AND THEN THATS WHEN I SAID IM SO DONE ITS GOING BACK ;I REALY WANTED THIS CLOCK IT WAS SO CUTE ;BUT IM NOT TAKING A CHANCE OF GETTING ANOTHER DEFECTED ONE.
Cute and Very Accurate-Be Patient
The instructions are absolutely horrible and I bet many people will be returning this clock because like the other two reviewers and me had a very hard time setting the clock based on the instructions. FINALLY, I figured out why the talking function did not work to set the time to the correct time zone. The clock comes to you with the sound turned OFF! The sound is the VOLUME button which comes to you in the off position. Once I turned on the volume button and picked the highest sound level which is located on the side of the clock, I pushed in the SNOOZE button and held it down which announced the time sound is turned on. Then I had to keep picking the EST time zone located on the battery wall there is one button to keep pushing for the different time zones, and then pushed in the snooze button again which announces the confirmation of the time zone you pick and other confirmations like the time, date, and if it updated the time or not, then keep pressing the reset button for it to keep trying to reset to EST, it finally updated the clock to the correct time and now if works great. I also had to set it on my wood night stand dresser by the window for it to finally update correctly to EST. Between pressing the time zone button and the reset button and the snooze button so many times, it finally updated correctly. You unfortunately have to re-read each section and all the directions so many times to figure this clock out and again how to make sure the sound/volume is turned on to get the clock going. It did not take between 1 hour and 24 hours for my clock to reach a signal, it only took minutes on mine.
Put the batteries in (2 C batteries) then make sure the volume is turned on for the sound, then try pushing in the time zone button in the battery wall, if it doesn't talk, then push the reset button on the side of the clock and wait to see if the clock hands start moving eventually to any time. It moves to 12 then waits for a signal and then automatically sets the time. Then you can go back and reset the time zone where you live if your clock is talking. And make sure it is by a window to get a good signal. If I can figure it out and make it work, so can you if you spend the time reading all the sections of the directions-I promise!
Wanted to Love
Like the previous reviewer, I so wanted this to work. I spent a long time reading and fiddling with it without ever getting it to be operational. Great idea but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It's going back in the morning.
I so wanted this clock to work. After repeated attempts I still couldn't get it to "talk". I couldn't even get the time zone to set since that required the "talking" function. Don't waste your "time" or money on this one. It is not worth it.
