What is it: A starter kit for fine, limp, flat hair.

Why is it different: It's like a megaphone for fine hair. It pumps and plumps limp, lackluster hair with a revolutionary, naturally derived complex of protein-rich Peruvian amaranth plus Ojon elixir, a 500-year-old beauty secret. Hair looks and feels voluminous, shiny, and full of bounce.

How do I use it: Apply Restorative Hair Treatment directly onto dry hair. Scoop 1 to 1-1/2 teaspoons into palm of hand. Warm by rubbing between hands until it transforms into an oil. Distribute evenly throughout hair and scalp. Repeat until hair is fully saturated. Comb through and allow to penetrate for 20 minutes before rinsing and shampooing. For very damaged hair, apply gentle heat from a hair dryer for five minutes and/or leave treatment on overnight. Use weekly.

Apply Volumizing Shampoo to wet hair and massage into scalp and hair. Rinse.

Massage Volumizing Conditioner into hair. Rinse.

Apply four to five sprays of the Thickening Spray to damp hair. Blow dry and style as desired.

Not bad at all..... So, far I have only tried the shampoo and thickening spray. The shampoo lathers quite a bit so a dime size should be enough. I rub the thickening spray on my palm and gently rub both palms together then I apply it to the roots of my hair. I find this works better than spraying it directly from the bottle. The smell doesn't bother me. It's just a fresh/natural scent. In order for my hair to have volume, I find that I need to use both shampoo and thickening spray together. I anticipate I will like the 2 other products that come with this kit. Overall, I like these products and plan to purchase the full sizes. 01-27-12

Skip it I have thick fine hair and am always on the lookout for a product that can give it some real body. Restorative Hair Treatment - The most vile smelling substance on earth. Having said that though I did find my hair to be smoother after one treatment. Besides the smell my issue with it is how hard you have to work. I found having to rub the very hard paste into an oil to be painstakingly slow. Why not just offer an oil product? Volume Advance Shampoo/Conditioner - Ick just Ick. The shampoo never really lathers and the conditioner never really coats. Volume Advance Thickening Spray - Made my hair feel coated, not sure how I feel about that yet. I just can't say I liked any of these products enough to give them another go. 01-15-12
