Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Nutrisystems Blew Me Out Of The Water!! I was hesitant to order being a foodie and because of that alone .... I will stay with Nutrisystems! Yes I read all reviews and if people would research before complaining and/or educate themselves ... they would understand what our bodies need and if they follow Nutrisystems ... there is no hunger. This is my 6th day on it and the weight (water for now) is coming off. I'm excited

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Far So Good Just started on this program and it has actually been great! The food is actually not bad at all and the snacks are generous size portions--plus really tastes good. I am glad that I decided to take a chance on this program and will update my review as I progress on the plan.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from If it wouldn't have cost so much I probably.... .... wouldn't have eaten half the stuff. Some of the meals were absolutely horrific tasting. I was surprised there were so many snacks also. I don't eat that many normally. I will finish the order simply because it cost me so much. I haven't weighed myself so I don't even know if I've lost any during this first week.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's do-able!! I have been type II Diabetic for over 30 years and insulin dependent for the last 6 years. I've done almost everything. My glucose readings have dropped way down and I have to be careful to make sure it doesn't bottom out. I truly don't understand the reviews about excess salt and sugar. My readings are so much better on NutriSystem! The taste of the food is GOOD - not like home cooking but all in all very good and I am a VERY picky eater. I find it's a great plan for me with adding in the veggies. Down 6 lbs the first 4 days! I've ordered from QVC and Nutri System directly. I like ordering from their Core Plan best because I choose what I eat. It does cost more - but worth it for me. I have one complaint that no one else has addressed or it's just "my issue". The Packaging is so difficult for me to deal with. The canned foods are almost impossible to open. I have to use a helping opener & it gets very messy at times. There have been times the can ring has broken off, leaving me with no way to get to the food. I find the plastic lids difficult to remove before opening and after cooking so I have to place these items in separate microwaveable containers. I wrestle with opening the bars and tearing off the plastic for venting on some microwave entrees. If you have strength issues with your hands - it's not fun.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too much sugar for a diabetic plan? After adding up the sugar content for my 20 day diabetic plan I found it to contain 436 grams of sugar, which I was informed was about 109 teaspoons of sugar. I called Nutrisystem and they told me it was within guidelines, but I would have preferred better guidelines. One of the snacks, a 1.8 oz. piece of carrot cake has 12 grams of sugar, so I have to take that into consideration when I plan out my daily meals to make sure I don't have a Granola Cereal with 11 grams of sugar for breakfast, a Trail Mix bar with 11 grams of sugar for lunch and some Lasagna with meat sauce with 6 grams of sugar or I end up with 40 grams, or about 10 teaspoons of sugar ( A Snickers bar contains 27 grams of sugar) all in one day. I think they should review the guidelines and see what they can come up with to better it. Just my opinion.
