We are on the NutriSystem program, but sometimes we dine out or cook our own meals. So we don't need a full month's supply every month. Ordered the breakfast and lunch packages to supplement between shipments. Actually, more cost effective and variety is good.

all the items were too much of beans, every packet opened seemed to be of beans; not a sampler at all

These Nutrisystem lunches are perfect for folks who are serious about losing weight using the Nutrisystem plan. There is a lot of variety and the products are shelf stable for a long time. Some of the lunches just need to be tossed in the microwave for 60 to 90 seconds and they're ready to eat! Other "dry" lunches need boiling water to be added to them, cover for 5-8 minutes, then they're ready to eat! Personally I like to add very hot water from my Keurig to the dry cups, then microwave for 30 seconds, remove and cover. Delicious lunches. The lunch bars are perfect for "on the go"; my favorite is the Fudge Graham lunch bar.

The already made products were OK, although tiny portions. But the 'meals' that you add water and microwave were horrible. Didn't even taste like real food. And who thinks a 200 calorie 'bar' is considered a lunch. Really?

I am very pleased with the lunch sampler. I started with big package -of BLD. Then I switched just to the lunch. (Very good- cheaper than going out for lunch and very good on sodium and selection)
I have done will since I ordered the nutrisystem total weight loss to date is 12 pounds- I work out 5 times a week goal to burn 300-600 calories(depending on the time I have) Nutrisystem has taught me portion control and with lunch has keep me on track.(I use the shakes also)I started at 162 now I am 150 needing to be at about 140. 5'6 I am hoping to reach my goal by May-June. I will continue to make this part of my work week -I have incorp. regular food for dinner mainly because I have to cook. Glad I started with the big pack 1st- Thank you to Marie Osman.(inspired me)
