Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! While the usefulness of a product largely depends on the intended use, this is a great product all around! I have owned one of these (purchased from QVC) for at least three years and use it DAILY. For anyone who is worried about leaking, let me be clear: ANY POSSIBLE LEAKING IS CAUSED BY OPERATOR ERROR!!! All you have to do to prevent leaking is to make sure that you are screwing the blending cap on correctly. If you don’t, the leaking is your fault. I know this is a fact because I made the mistake and corrected myself and I’ve not had any leaks in over two years. This blender is AWESOME for our daily breakfast smoothies and has a small footprint on our kitchen counter. It has enough cups, lids, and parts for versatile usage without having extra junk that you don’t need. The cups and lids are also dishwasher safe, even in the bottom rack (the large cup that we always use is too tall to fit in the top rack). Like any great product, take care of it and it will take care of you for years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT!!! I use this at least 3x a week. I put ice in it with cut up baby carrots, an apple or some other piece of fruit, PB2 (powdered peanut butter) and my protein mix (either Quest or Nutrisystem). Blend it and it is sooooo good. I had a nutribullet but this is far superior to that. Sometimes I even put my vitamins in with what I am mixing. I will not be without one of these EVER!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a Good Design. Any Time you have to Blend something "Upside Down" there is a Good Chance the Container will Leak! That is what Happens with this Product! No Matter how "Tight" I put the Lid on, there would be Liquid All Over the place.. I finally tossed it out and Bought a "Ninja Storm". So Much better...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've had two Ninjas and Love them. I have had this exact one for almost a year. I cannot speak to the ice because I do not use ice in my smoothies. I freeze my fruits instead and add cold water. As to comment that it leaks, you have to make sure the blade is screwed on properly because if it's not lined up of course it's going to leak. My first Ninja I bought it over 3 years ago is still being used. I gave it to my daughter when we moved, she went one way me another. Ninja its a great product!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Blends Fruits & Veggies Well But Leaks Badly This machine is great at blending fruits and veggies (fresh or frozen) and it has no problem crushing ice. It makes a really nice smoothie. But while blending, the liquid leaks out of the cup and into the the blender base making a big mess that is difficult to clean out. No matter how careful I am to make sure the lid is tightly screwed onto the cup, after about 10 seconds of blending, the lid come loose and the liquid begins leaking out. It's too late for me to send this unit back.
