Easy On/Off - Puddle Proof with Generous calves
I wore these for the first time and they are good. My feet are almost a half size different due to a big toe injury years ago. These have lots of wiggle room in the toe box, are medium to wide width and still look cute in a size 9. I put my blue Birkenstock foot beds in them and they are very comfortable. There is enough room in them for a wool sock when the weather is wet AND cold, which is what they call "Spring" in New York. These will be so great when the Great Thaw comes and there are deep puddles everywhere.

Great find and roomier calf space!
To be fair I haven't worn these out yet, so I can't speak to the performance, but the style and fit is worth 5 stars. I've been researching rain boots for awhile trying to find stylish ones with roomier calves and it hasn't been easy. I have 151/2 inch calves, which I don't consider huge, but a lot of rain boots have a 14 inch or so circumference, way too tight. I wanted to be able to tuck pants into them and these allow me to with room to spare. They measure about a 16inch circumference (though I didn't actually measure). The only caution is they run large. I usually wear a 9.5-10 shoe, so I got the 10. I had to try thick socks to keep them from flopping as they run long and wide. I also tried on a 9 in store and it fit perfectly, but since I tried them without socks I went with the larger size.

THERE'S PUDDLE JUMPING FOR THIS WOMAN...
...AND ‘I’M SINGING IN THE RAIN’, WITH THESE GREAT RAIN BOOTS... My feet are dry all enclosed to the middle of my knees! I love the low heel, and I sized down from seven to six as recommended as these run large and the fit PURRFECT! FUN STORY: I had my Daisy Rain Boots on one day last week, and while walking to the door of the store, I spotted a toddler having fun with his boots in the puddles… Yes, I did, I joined him! Back to the Nomad Boots - definitely water-resistant is the rubber; and I have noted that it is writ: ‘All Nomad rain boots are water resistant not waterproof… not intended for extreme weather conditions’, and with that understanding I still LOVE MY NOMAD PUDDLES BLACK AND WHITE DAISY RAIN BOOTS! P.S. I hope I cross paths with that youngster again in the rain for more fun!
