Ninja 1100 Watt Kitchen System 72 oz Blender w/ 40 oz Bowl & Attachments
Received my Ninja yesterday and made my first breakfast smoothie this morning, FANTASTIC does every thing as explained and demonstrated by Bob and David, I don't understand why some people have a problem with it, to those all I can say is READ THE BOOK, I am excited and can't wait to use it again. Love my Ninja, thank you QVC for a great deal.
Work Great.....Then not so great.
I ordered this blender in Jan. "13, after making smoothies with frozen fruit. The blades are already dull. It worked great for about a month......now it just sits on my counter. Not happy with my purchase.
ABSOLUTELY HATE IT
Too complicated with all the different attachments and blades, and blades are hard to clean because they are too sharp to handle normally in any way (washing by hand or in the DW). I would rather have one blade that stays in place and performs all the functions by itself. Also, I forgot how to align the lid the 2nd time using it, and it won't work if the lid isn't on the "right" way. I had to dig out the product info and figure it out, which was such a hassle. Also, this machine seems to add a lot of air to blended drinks (HATE THIS). I've had other blenders that don't do this. My shakes are pretty much FOAM. HATE IT ! Lastly, it does not fully combine/blend in the shorter pitcher. I tried to make ice cream and half of it was stuck to the sides and in the corners, unblended. I now want a vortex blender to avoid this, and for easier use and cleaning. I'm eyeballing Kitchen Aid and Vitamix now. I guess I'll try to sell this Ninja. I'll have to lie, lie, lie to pull that off.
Blender is Great!, Pitcher not so much
Best blender motor I ever owned. Unfortunately the plastic pitcher already cracked and it is hard to find a replacement.
Very Nice Machine
So far I have only used it to make smoothies and it does a beautiful job for this. Like so many others, I, too, have a very difficult time removing the lid.
Wasted my time.
It never worked! Tried it in 3 different sockets (that I use everyday) it never went past the red light. Packed it back up the same day and took it back to the post office...I called costumer service to explain all this, they were so very nice agreed it was defective she even told me they would not charge any of the shipping because it was a defective unite. I do understand that sometimes a bad unite can make it past, it's just disappointing when it happens to you.
I purchased this from Bed, Bath, and Beyond over a year ago after seeing the infomercial. I was very excited thinking I had finally found the blender that will make my smoothies and health drinks smooth, and to chop my veggies so I do not have to do it by hand. I was wrong. It left chunks of ice in my "smoothies" and skins that were not chopped from the veggies (and this is after I did a pre-chop by hand). I was so disappointed, and the fact that I paid $170.00 for it was even more painful. I have personally tried a Vitamix for myself (they have them at Costco and they allow you to see for yourself how good they are), and will be investing in one of those. Hopefully it is the last blender I ever purchase.
GREATEST BLENDER EVER!!!!!!
I use this blender at least three times a week. It is wonderful for frozen treats and is goof proof. This machine makes the perfect powder ice. This is my second Ninja, My son borrowed my first one and loved it!
Works Well For Me
Got this a few months ago. I purchased it to make my smoothies and health drinks. It does the job very well. I add frozen fruit, kale, spinach, coconut water, pumpkin pie spice and then let the machine do its thing for a 45 sec. to a minute. The drink comes out perfect. I did not want or feel the need to spend mega dollars on the Vitamix (which I'm sure is terrific) but for my needs this works great. Personally, I'm not looking to make ice cream, hot soups, or crush ice. As far as the top is concerned...yes, you really need to tug on it because it is a little difficult to get off. I've been splashed a few times when pulling the top off (that is why I gave it 4 stars)...LOL. This machine is so easy to clean and has a small "footprint" on the counter, so just a little space is needed. This is a good product. I have no issues with it.
imitations are a waste of money
I bought this Ninja blender because I thought it would do the job just as well as a Vita Mix, for less money. Wrong! This machine takes oo long to do anything, does not make anything smooth (even left the skins on the frozen blueberries!) and is too hard to open when processing is finished. Gave up and ordered the Vita Mix. Buying imitations is always a waste of money. Ninja is not what you show it to be. QVC damages its credibility when it tpushes inferior products as better. I trust QVC, but this item cost it some points for sure. Save your money.
Ninja 1100 Watt Kitchen System
This Product is keeper. It does exactly what it promised to do. I just love it because it saves a lot of time.
This is so much better than the department store type blenders. I haven't tried all the attachments yet, but so far so good.
