Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ninja, Pulse it Up cookbook terrible Can't believe QVC would carry this useless book. Sent it back and not worth the return shipping. Do you have a way to convert a recipe from blender cook books to Ninja? They would be much better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good cookbook I am not sure why this book has gotten so many bad reviews. I think this is decent book. Lots of interesting and tasty recipes. Beautiful pictures. So glad I did not heed the reviews here.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very helpful What I was hoping for when I purchased this cookbook, was some specifics about using my new Ninja (which I LOVE). For example, although I'm a fairly experienced cook, I've never made pastry, and I decided to try my hand at pizza dough. The first time I did it, I was afraid to kneed it too long, so it wasn't ready. As I said, I don't have much experience with pastry, so I didn't really know what I was looking for. Information about how long i would need to kneed the dough would have been very helpful, but was not forthcoming. That, coupled with an explanation (that was provided) of how the dough should look and feel would have been very helpful. So I'm disappointed... I guess trial and error will be the way to go, but QVC could and should have made sure that this cookbook was more supportive of its customers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What A Joke! I was looking for new recipes for healthy drinks and this is not it! The presentation was very misleading! Not worth the money! I love my ninja but this book is worthless!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great starting point for creative cooks It is true this cookbook doesn't provide a lot of photos of the prepared recipes. They are grouped together in the front of each section; maybe if they were more evenly dispersed throughout it would breakup the recipes a bit more. If you find it difficult to read a restaurant menu and imagine what the favors will taste like, then you may have trouble since there are not many photos of the recipes. But if you can image what the foods taste like, you'll be okay; it just takes longer to browse through and quickly find what you're looking for. But I find the content to be very good. If you already make your own tweaks to recipes, then you'll find many ideas to get you started on adapting these recipes to your own taste or ingredients. Substituting some of the ingredients shouldn't be a problem if you know what favors you're going for in the result. I found many recipes that I'll try just as they are; they are recipes I don't usually make like no-cook cheesecake or Mediterranean inspired dips/spreads. They sounded yummy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a reference book, not a cookbook Many people do not know how to utilize this book. It is a reference book used to guide you on what vegetables and fruits to use for healthy eating for specific body parts strengthening. The receipes are smoothies and salads to put together as guidance toward your creative meal building with the useful directions of what each vegatable/fruit is good for body. It is a spinoff of it's competitions' book on the market. You know that little bullet thing. This is much better. I love anything this company manufacturers. However, the Mega Kitchen Ninja System("1500" watts food processor, blender, slicer, dicer, etc) with all the attachements is the best. I sure QVC will soon come out with that soon.
