Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressed with my D3400 I purchased my D3400 from the refurbished list, was concerned what might not work, but all functions work perfectly. I have had this camera over a year, have taken beautiful photos of my local birds at our feeders, family and even for wifes company get togethers. Have owned Nikon products all my life, being an art major, I still have my F 1, in great working condition from 1969. Thank you Nikon you knocked it out of park with the D3400.

Cannot go wrong with a Nikon? My Nikons have been used at weddings, family functions, church functions and just for pleasure. These Nikons cameras are great cameras!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size I bought this refurbished camera for my upcoming visit to Ireland and wow what a surprise! I have smaller hands that fit perfectly holding it. Quality of the photos are awesome. Yes I recommend the D3400 for anyone who wants a smaller fit camera but is still powerful in service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice camera to re-learn SLR. It had been 40 years the last time that I had an SLR camera. The D3400 is a nice one to re-learn how to use one. Nice to have a camera that you can use in automatic while trying things in the manual modes. Nice camera for the hobbyist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great camera but Why would Nikon package the camera with 18-55 & 70-300 lens and not match the filter ring diameters? (55 vs. 58mm) A more considerate design of products wood be a big + for the user. Filters cost money and I now need to sort & carry 2 sets in my case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does a great job Really like the speed of the auto focus. Takes great pictures. Battery life is good. Basic camera but still I think it is great. Wish some of the things for it were not so expensive.( extra batteries, lenses, flashes)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Beginner Camera I've owned this camera since May 2017 and it was a choice between this camera and the Canon EOS Rebel T6i. After using this camera - and reading the user reviews of the Canon camera - I'm very happy I've chosen this particular camera to get started in photography with. It's a great model for anyone whose just getting started with the intention to evolve to a professional camera model in the future, or even for just the hobbyist. I've gotten great shots with this camera and every time I've used it I want to raise my game in taking photographs. I'm probably a Nikon owner for life.
