Nikon D3400 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic camera and a great price I bought this with the 18-55mm and the 70-300mm kit and i have to say, it has been a real treat. I have some experience using DSLR's before, but have never really had the money for one of those super expensive ones. This does everything i ask of it and more. This is a great camera for beginners (it has a guide function that teaches you how to use it) and for people that do not have the money to invest into high dollar bodies and glass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No experience with photograpy I have ZERO experience in photography and got some wonderful shots of our bowling Christmas party. I was able to watch the Nikon's beginners video that comes with the camera and that helped a lot. I still have a lot to learn. The auto feature helps you get great shots but once I learn more I know I will become better. The SnapBridge app allows the camera to send the pictures to your phone and I was able to share the photos immediately. That's once of my favorite features the camera has. I found I got good pictures in low light as other reviewers on other websites said that it wasn't good. The battery last way longer than I thought. I've used it on several events and it is just now telling me it is getting low. I want to try to master the video portion of the camera and get movie like quality. That will be my next step. Great for beginners. Can't wait to use my camera in Scotland.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing entry level product Before I got this camera I never really seriously took any sort of pictures except for a couple of projects in school. But getting this camera changed my life without a doubt. I have learned of something I am incredibly passionate about. I cannot recommend this camera enough if you think you may be interested in photography. I recommend getting the two lens kit because it comes with a lens good for landscapes (18-55mm) and a lens that works well for portraits (70-300mm). Again, I cannot recommend this camera enough if you think you may enjoy photography.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor service non functioning on arrival Download feature did not work. Limited customer service. Return refused for being 2 hours over limit on day 14 when finally had hours to spend with rep. Was told a supervisor would reach out. Never happened. Beware!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful camera that takes amazing pictures. For one thing the two lens combo is great! The 300mm lens has come in handy more times than I can count. This is a excellent camera for beginners in that it offers a neat little mode to select what you want to do, what kind of picture you want to take and it sets everything up for you. Plus pre-processed camera modes. (Like sepia or B&W) Menus are a breeze to access, and navigate, buttons feel firm, and responsive. The on board flash works well, but is wholly automatic, using a external flash module is recommended for professional use. A omg i love feature is the snapbridge app, and the bluetooth built into the camera, take pics (not in raw only format) and there they are on your phone. Pairing the camera is easy, and quick. No more having to transfer to the computer, then transferring to you phone or emailing them to yourself, it really makes it a lot easier. The lenses dismount and mount with firm click, feel very well made, and solid. The auto stability, and vibration control works great as well. The camera body has zero creaks, zero casing movement, the batteries charge fast and last long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressed with my D3400 I purchased my D3400 from the refurbished list, was concerned what might not work, but all functions work perfectly. I have had this camera over a year, have taken beautiful photos of my local birds at our feeders, family and even for wifes company get togethers. Have owned Nikon products all my life, being an art major, I still have my F 1, in great working condition from 1969. Thank you Nikon you knocked it out of park with the D3400.
