Nesco's last forever. Cook/Bake everything. In 30 years have only used my oven 3-4 times a year for things too big for Nesco or broiling. People are still talking about the amazing moist Thanksgiving turkey cooked on a construction site over 20 years ago...on a 2x4 with NO basting. Put it on just before the church service and the 18 pound bird was totally done by time service was over. Yummmmm.

I purchased this to replace my chrome Nesco which was borrowed from me and never returned. Love, love, love the Nesco product line and this in the red color goes perfectly in my new kitchen featuring red appliances. Thanks Nesco for the great products.

Wow! I really bought this for holiday cooking. But yesterday I was fixing a double recipe of Taco Soup and it wouldn't fit in my crock pot. So I got my Nesco roaster out and cooked it in it.
Worked good and the soup was great. I can see it can do lots of other things beside cook a turkey or ham.
It's exactly like the one my mom cooked in when I was a kid.

Used it for the first time on St. Patrick's Day. I cooked 17 pounds of corned beef and received rave reviews from all 30 guests, even those who aren't ordinarily fond of the food. Can't wait to roast a turkey.

Just used it to slow cook a pork roast with all the veggies. Turned out great and the clean up was slick!

I bought one of the older models...largest one, think 18 qts. It works perfectly, and I always make my Thanksgiving turkey in it, like everyone else. It cooks the turkey in literally half as much time as the oven...seriously! Love this roaster...really think every kitchen should have one...great wedding present.

We cooked our first ever Thanksgiving turkeys in this roaster--we purchased it for that specific reason. The turkeys turned out wonderful and with little muss and fuss. The cleanup is easy too! There will be many items cooked in this roaster--it is a welcome addition to our 4 and 6 qt Nesco roasters. The red color was a real plus too since it accompanies our many red KitchenAid appliances and utensils.

I bought this very roaster from QVC way back when and I still use it every Thanksgiving to make our turkey. Comes out moist and juicy every time. The only thing you don't get is crispy skin, but the meat is super moist so it's worth it. It also cooks the turkey faster than my convection oven. We've cooked up to an 18 lb turkey in this size roaster. The other plus is that you can use the oven for everything else and having oven space during a big party is the best. No need to take turns with side dishes. The roaster fits on a counter and doesn't heat up the house if you decide to use it for other things throughout the year. Every Labor Day we pick and cut-up 50lbs of tomatoes and cook them down in the roaster so we can pack and store it all for the following year. (And having a Foodsaver that we bought here at QVC helps with that!) This roaster can cook lots of chili for the big game parties or it can keep side dishes warm. Such a good thing to have and a great price.

Cant beat Nesco. Best roaster on the market. Red color is outstanding. Use this item a couple times a week, all year long. Highly recommended.

I own 2 of the older models, a 6 and an 18 qt both of which I purchased through QVC. Now, I can't imagine NOT having them in my kitchen! And being easy to clean. just icing on the cake :)

I use this more than my oven. I use it every day in the summer because it does not heat up the kitchen.
There is a removable rack in it that I leave in. I take my 13x9 pan and just put it in. Because of the rack, the pan goes down only half-way so you can put it in and take it out eastily. No matter what I cook, I put it up to 400 degrees.
I cook a complete pot roast dinner with potatoes and carrots. I cook a whole chicken, pork chops, chicken breast -- whatever -- all at 400 degrees.
Then sometimes I want baked potatoes. I put in as many as I want on the rack (one or 8) and cook them at 400 degrees for 2 hours. When you take them out, the outside is hard and the inside is soft. The peals are delicious.
I made cakes -- you name it. I really don't have to clean it because I cook everything in a pan.
It's the best.
