Disappointment
I purchased two of these.One for me and one I gave as a gift. The gift turned out to be a total embarrassment. It quit working within 5 minutes of use! I used mine once and had no problem. However, I know longer have confidence in the product. I will be returning both of them.

Pleased with vacuum!
I bought two of these about a month ago.....one for my kitchen and one for my bathroom. Great suctioning power and easy to handle. Love the colors too!

Impressed with the power
I ordered when TSV and later in the day noticed negative reviews and tried to cancel the order but it was already in process so waited, gave it a trial run---cleaning out my car and decided it was great, much better than the carwash vacs. Now I am cleaning up a house that will be rented soon and it has been great getting close to baseboards where the new carpet clippings hide, doing the stairs, etc. Yes, you do have to empty the dust cup, but it is easy to empty. I'm glad I didn't cancel my order!

Get a Long Extension Cord
This is okay, but the hype exceeds the use. So much better to get a rechargable hand vac with l8 watts of power. Again, okay and not so much a No+.
Buy the wonderful l8 watt recharagable hand vac instead.

So Easy To Pull Out And Use
I now have two of these, one for upstairs and one for the lower level. It is light weight and really could be carried to different levels very easily but I just wanted both. So easy to just pull out and use for quick spills. The power is great. Use it on the floors and took off the extender tube and used the hand held to go over my couch and cloth chairs. Very easy to go back and forth from long to hand held. It's nice to have a hand held that you know isn't going to run out of power and also will last longer than the ones that you have to charge. You will be glad that you made the purchase.

Wonderful
I just love this. I have pets that shed and this picks it alls up all that hair on the floor. It's a wonderful buy. My daughter has pets and has the same problem and I will get her one.

Worst purchase ever on QVC
I purchased this vacuum to pick up kitty litter in the laundry room. It picks it up and then when you turn off the vacuum it comes right out and back onto the floor. The litter is not captured into the vacuum. Everything in the hose stays there and falls out. The hose also does not stay attached to the vacuum. I can't tell you how many times it has fallen off while I am using it. The body of the unit also gets very hot when in use. This is not a good product. I thought maybe I didn't have it assembled correctly but had my husband the engineer look it over to see if it was my error. It wasn't! Very disappointed with this product. It may work well for lint but certainly not for picking up litter or crumbs. And the fact that it gets so hot is certainly a concern of mine.
This is definitely my worst purchase ever on QVC. Would return it but I am past my return shipment window!

Very poor
Cannot suck up anything on a carpet. Poor with stairs. Gets hot, tools that come with it are flimsy.
If there was a minus 5 rating, I would give it.

Don't understand bad reviews
I found this little vacuum to have a lot of power and is so much lighter than my last stick broom vac/handheld vac. The only complaint I have is that head on the floor attachment gets kind of stuck in an upright position sometimes, but it's easily corrected. One reviewer said she thought it would scratch her hardwood floors. I have hardwood floors and have no issue with that at all. It is a small vacuum and it does have to emptied often if you're picking up a lot of stuff but it's not meant to replace a large vacuum cleaner. I like the 15 foot cord very much. It does a better job picking up small pieces and not scattering them than my late model upright does. Would definitely recommend.

COMES IN VERY HANDY
I have had this vac for over a year now, and while it comes in very handy & does quite a good job I would suggest buying the new & much improved model 550XL.....what a difference. I just opened the new version last night & right away noticed a big difference in suction. Spend the extra $8.00 it is worth it.

Not a good buy
I bought two of these sweepers before Christmas. They looked like they would be a perfect fit for me and my mom. I bought one for myself to pick up kitty litter and a quick fix whenever I didn't want to haul out the big sweeper. Sorry to say but the Monster Plus 500 doesn't do what it says it will do. While using for kitty litter, the sweeper spills the kitty liter right back out. Even when you shut the sweeper off it continues to fall out of the cup. Tried my mom's thinking that maybe mine was defective, but it did the same thing with hers. The cup in the sweeper is so small that you have to empty it while you are using it. Bad buy!!!!

Cord Too Short for Stairway
I bought this to vacuum stairway. Returned because the cord is too short to complete the job.
