Quality coat
Unfortunately, I will be sending this wonderful coat back. The crimson red has more of a brown/orange cast to it, not a true crimson red as it appears on my screen. Would have exchanged it for another color but my size is sold out. Other than the color issue, this is a wonderfully made, hard to tell from real leather coat. Excellently done.

BEAUTIFUL COAT, BUT....
THIS IS MY FIRST GUILLAUME PURCHASE AFTER READING THE REVIEWS I KNEW THIS COAT WAS A MUST HAVE.. I JUST RECEIVED THIS COAT AND IT IS GORGEOUS. I ORDERED M "RED". (THIS IS NOT A BRIGHT RED IS NICE BURNT RED) THE FIT IS TRUE TO SIZE. THE SLEEVES ARE A LITTLE LONG BUT I WOULD HAVE FOLD THEM IN, NO PROBLEM. UNFORTUNATELY, I MUST RETURN IT BECAUSE THE BUTTONS ARE LOSE AND ONE OF THEM WAS TEARING THE FAUX LEATHER.AND I'M AFRAID THE REST WILL FOLLOW. I MUST SAY THE WORKMANSHIP ON THIS COAT WAS SPECTACULAR. MAYBE IF THE BUTTONS WERE SEWN OVER A COTTON MATERIAL THIS COAT WOULD HAVE BEEN MY BEST PURCHASE EVERY FROM QVC. PS THIS COAT ITS NOT FOR PETITES. I'M 5' 4 AND IT COMES TO THE TOP OF MY ANKLES. (WHICH I LOVED BY THE WAY).

NICE COAT
I was very impressed when I rec'd this coat. The fit is perfect and the design is classic. I got the black before it sold out, but I wish I would have gotten the purple as well. After seeing the black that I have, I know the purple would be beautiful. The added lining is great for the colder months, but since I live in the south I took it out for now. I'm sure I will need it in January or February. It's great to have the option of a lining. I highly recommend this coat. I think you will love it as much as I do.

Too bad it different fit.
Ordered the coats in eggplant and black in xs. Unfortunately, I have to send them back. I'm 5'3 and the fit didn't work on my body (long in the arms and overall length). Too bad because they looked like the real thing and were a really nice weight.

Butter Smooth
i received my faux leather coat in red yesterday and I am so glad I made the purchase. $47.00 clearance price. I'm 5 '6, 220. I wear btwn a 16 and 18. I've gained weight and did not think about the size I placed it under on my wish list last year. When a five easy pay came up last week I just ordered it. I can button it up but it's snug. I'm currently on a diet and feel I will be able to get into it by the time Oct hits here in Mich. The feel is luxurious. Soft and supple, it has a lining, is heavy and seems like it will be quite warm and cozy for the fall. Unfortunately I can't compare it to real leather and am actually happy it is not real. If you don't have a problem with faux leather, get it. You'll be glad you did.

Average for the price.
This is my first "faux" leather purchase and I must admit I was not overly excited about it. If I had paid the original price for this coat I would have immediately returned it. Yes, it is slimming and from a distance appears to be leather. The dead giveaway that it is not leather is the lack of topstitching. If they had taken the time to do that it would be much more believable. My buttons started coming off after the second wearing. Funny thing, one button is four holed while the other button that attaches is only two holes. I had to find a different way to attach the buttons. I also believe the buttons wil eventually tear a hole in the material. Also, I wear a size 8-10 (I am 5"4") and ordered the small in black. It fit perfectly except I had to take the liner out as it was too small. It was as if the coat had an x-small liner. Now for the good things and the reason I kept the coat. It is lightweight, it is very good to wear with leggings as the length really helps keep your legs warm, at the price you would have a hard time finding even a fleece coat in this length, and it is a good coat to grab in a hurry. I have worn it numerous times in the past month and no one has ever commented that it looked like leather or that it looked good in general. I had one person tell me it looked like the coat from the matrix movie. Not the look I was going for at all.

Excellent product, incredible value!
I am very impressed with this full length coat! Most reviews don't put in what their height/weight/normal size is, they just say I bought a medium, or small or etc and I had to get a size bigger, or smaller etc. I will put in all my details to help future prospective buyers as I know some styles can vary slightly sizewise.
I am 5'5", 130lbs, and generally a size 4 to 6 - depending on the make, style etc.
I got this in the XS going by one review as I had been tossing up between XS and S. The XS is a very good fit for my statistics, it still leaves a fair bit of room for a thicker type sweater or vest underneath it, and that's without taking out the lining. The length is about lower calf length, so very well covered and warm.
The coast itself looks incredible, very classy, feels very comfortable on. The buttons were all a bit loose, some very much so but I didn't mind double sewing these back on securely for such a great coat.

LOVE IT!!!
I just tried on my Guillaume full length leather coat in plum and it fit like a glove. I purchased a medium, because that's all they had in the plum, and was worried about the fit across the chest. It fit perfectly. I am 5'7, 38C so I was afraid it would be too tight. I can't tell you how much I love the fit of this coat. The length is perfect for my height and as I stated the fit across the chest was just right. The faux leather is so silky soft and the plum color is beautiful. I am so excited that the medium fit because the coat is gorgeous. You can't go wrong with this coat. It's a must buy, even if you have to wait for your size.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Great Buy-5 star w/minor exception
I read almost all of the reviews & hesitated because a 1X was not avail + really wanted the purple/eggplant color. Wow am I glad that I boutght this coat (red). The lines and detail of the fit are phenominal. I have a lambskin leather coat that's about 15 yrs old ($325) and although this is not the same quality it is ooohhh so very close that no one would believe it's not a real fine leather coat, I'm seeing it and can't believe it. I'm 5'7" with long arms the length is great and the sleeves fit. It would have been better in 1 X for me (so think the sizing it pretty true to size) so i took out the lining. The lining would come out anyway as it's not easily slid over clothes and I'm warm enough with out it so that is one minor exception. Also the buttons are coming off and need to by sew on better but I can do that... and good news is that I want to replace the buttons anyway don't like the dark brown on the red coat... now I have 2 reasons to replace the buttons so for a couple $$ will be all set. I am looking at one of the shorted jackets because at this price for the quality WOW great buy!!!!

Hard to believe it isn't real leather!
Just got this coat in black, and wow, it's NICE! The material feels like good quality leather - very soft. The coat looks and feels so much more expensive than it is. What a great buy! As for sizing, I'm 5'9" and it hit me well below my knee, so it's pretty long. I got a size small, which seems more like a size 8 than a 6, as it is a little looser than I would have liked. So if you like your coats more fitted, you might be best to size down. However, I'm keeping the small so that there is room for my bulky sweaters. Overall, I highly recommend this coat!

Faux - No!!!
Ladies, this is a beautiful faux leather coat. I, like some of the other reviewers would not buy faux leather because it looks and feels cheap along with a host of other issues. However, this coat is spot on! I have almost 30 coats and certainly DID NOT need another one but I loved the eggplant color, the smooth and supple feel, but mostly the length. I am 5'5 and it barely grazes my ankles which I love. Also I ordered the large because I have a hard time with coats closing over my chest. But this one fits perfectly. If it wouldn't be a disgrace, I would get the other colors. So go ahead and grab if it you're on the fence. No one will ever know that it is faux : )

Hidden treasures!
I bought this at clearance price. It is my second Guillaume coat. I loved it right out of the box. The color is a mouth-watering pearlized grape and It is unbelievably soft and supple. I like the the convertible collar, which buttons all the way up to a cowl. The length and movement makes me feel like I am in "The Matrix." This morning was cool and stormy, so I decided to rock this coat. As I was removing the toasty-licious lining, I got a few very pleasant surprises: the lining not only zips in, there are little loop and button closures at the top and bottom of the armholes to keep it in place; the lining is trimmed all the way around with a satin piping, the seams are double seam finished AND this amazing coat has my absolute favorite feature in luxury outerwear -- an inner breast pocket! Just too fabulous for words! A GREAT gift idea -- and quite affordable.
