Rated 5 out of 5 by Jpro Ideal for female, No more chest strap !
As a female and already wearing a sports bra, we don't need even more stuff to have around our chest area. The wrist monitor is ideal, you really don't even notice it. Definitely the way to go for the girls in my opinion.

Hi guys I love the product. So much better than the garmin chest strap. Sadly though, the clasp broke 2 weeks in. How do I get a replacement? Thanks

I used the Mio Link few times since I received it, and everytime the conection with the app got lost. At the end of the exercise only few minutes were recorded. My iphone was not far from the device, so I don't know how I am having this problem. I will try few more days, but If it does not get better, I will ask for my monwy back.

Had to wear with the sensor inside the wrist - the sensor does not seem to work with the wrist hair :-)
Rated 5 out of 5 by TZMg Bye bye chest strap.
I bought this Mio strap a few weeks ago and works very well with my Garmin Fenix 3 without a hitch I used to get abrasions from the chest strap. Mio is accurate and easy to use

I love this heart rate monitor. It's easy to put on and just from a glance I can tell what zone I'm in based on the color. Charging it is easy as it fits into any USB device, but you'll want to make sure to charge it after each use. I've found that the battery life does not last very long. It works on most of my weekday workouts (approximately 2 hours), but any workout that is 5+ hours, it will eventually die. It doesn't matter to me though, I love the comfort of having a heart rate monitor on my wrist versus the chest strap. It pairs with my Garmin Edge 810 and my phone (Samsung Galaxy S6). On rare occasions, the heart rate monitor won't provide accurate results (i.e. I know I'm near my max but the monitor says I'm 30 beats below it), but I ignore it and it eventually goes back to normal.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Catchblonde Signal drops out...
Sometimes it works really well, other times the signal constantly drops out, showing periods of zero heart rate, which I wave to assume seriously messes with the accuracy of an average heart rate... and I can't figure out what is causing it. I use it for the same work outs, in the same places, and sometimes the little chart showing your heart rate tracks perfectly, other times it has drop outs every few minutes. I wear it in the same place on my arm, same tightness... I don't understand the inconsistency. When it does work, however, it is an excellent metric for effort... The heart rate zones are easy to customize, I like the app, it syncs well with my map your run app and my vivosmart...
Rated 3 out of 5 by Casper MIO Link OK, charger not so much
Happy to ditch the chaffing strap. MIO Link is ok though the blinking lights are of little use for real time feedback. Despite meticulous cleaning, the charger contacts corroded to the point that they are useless. Must be a different material than the contacts on the MIO itself since those are fine. Now have to spend another 15 bucks plus shipping to replace it (or throw out the dead MIO and go back to the strap).
Rated 4 out of 5 by Andrea85 Good, Sometimes
The bottom line with this HR monitor is that it is WAY more comfortable than a chest strap. However, if you are using it on it's own without a Garmin or similar device, it's extremely difficult to see the blinking light out in the sun, making it nearly useless. When you do use it with a Garmin or similar device I found that the signal was only accurate when I wore both on the same wrist. If I wore the Mio on my left and my Garmin on my right it didn't seem to read accurately. So, this Mio seems to have both its uses and its limitations.

The product is accurate and I love the app on the iPhone for it as well.
Very informative product.

I've gotten hooked on road biking within the last two years, so I've been slowly acquiring all the necessary gadgetry. I was looking for a high quality continuous heart rate monitor that could wirelessly sync data to a Bluetooth/ANT+-enabled bike computer. After much research, I decided to go with the Miolink for two reasons. Firstly, the sensor was invented by Philips, whose breakthrough technologies have made them pioneers in the medical equipment field. I knew right away that I could trust this product to give me reliable results. Secondly, I loved that the Miolink is a wristband as opposed to a chest strap. Such convenience and comfort are a definite plus.
The Miolink was the perfect answer to my search. I have a Cateye Padrone Smart bike computer and the Miolink communicates seamlessly with the Cateye. And while my computer uses Bluetooth, I'm glad Mio thought to make the device both Bluetooth and ANT+ compatible--something I'll value even more when I choose to upgrade. What else can I say? Bluetooth+ANT+, Philips sensor, rechargeable battery, and continuous monitoring at an affordable price. In my humble opinion, Mio has set the standard for wearable heart monitoring devices

I have used my Mio Link a few times now and it is a great relief from having to wear the heart rate strap! So much more convenient, especially on long runs and all the same HR data is displayed on my running watch. Thank you for a great product!
