Rated 4 out of 5 by Very pretty and unusual! I just received this ring and I really like it! True of some of the other reviews, the color is very faint, and although I wish it was a little more colorful, I will keep it. Substantial ring, and I really like the darker rhodium finish around the stone, although I am a bit worried about getting it scratched up. It will definitely affect the look of the ring if that happens. i bought this for a middle finger, and it fits nicely and looks nice there. I have placed my favorite green charms and oxidized beads on my Pandora bracelet, and it all looks great together! I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, as I am still a bit afraid the dark coloring around the stone will scratch. Thinking of a way to avoid this. If anyone has any suggestions, please post them here! 02-05-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed Love the ring BUT after wearing it for a week, the plating on the bezel started wearing off. Very disappointing...has to go back. 12-24-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by Stone had no color Very disappointed with the lack of color in the stone. The crosshatching in the side was beautiful. Returned ring because of the stone. 11-07-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by I'm satisfied! I purchased this ring about 7 months.ago. I like.to wear chunky rings. So I was worried that I might have to send it back if it was wimpy. Nope, not at all! I like it just fine!! I dont wear it all the.time but the times.I decide to.wear it make me happy!!! 10-17-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great ring! I cannot understand the negative reviews. I just received this a couple of days ago, so maybe my review is a little too soon... the ring is so comfortable. I ordered a size 8 to wear on my middle finger... the mint quartz stone is a very pale color but it has such clarity and sparkles in the sun. It does have a bit of a "masculine" feel, but in a classy, stylish way. I think it's amazing. Four stars only because I haven't owned it long enough to know if I will experience some of the problems others have noted. 07-09-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by It's beautiful but... The silver Rhodium everyone is reviewing about looks like it's getting scratched or wearing off after just 1-2 days of wearing it. I love the ring other than that but cannot see spending over $100 on a ring that is scratching or wearing off. Disappointed. 06-01-15
Rated 2 out of 5 by Where's the mint ??? The ring arrived this week, and at first I was impressed with the overall design. I am a male by the way., and frequently it seems QVC misses the boat by NOT offering many many jewelry items in the context of being Unisex in design. When I examined the crystal set into the bezel, I tried and tried to spot even the slightest tint or hint of the green which is clearly part of the sales pitch. There was none at all in my ring crystal. It was like a piece of clear glass. Boring. Mailed it back today for a refund. 05-30-15
Rated 2 out of 5 by "OH SO VERY DISAPPOINTED" First let me say that I have many pieces of Michael Dawkins jewelry collected over several years. I LOVE the crosshatch of this ring and an all shinny sterling silver bezel would have set off the crosshatch while letting the stone stone shine through. Why Michael rhodium plated the top of the bezel I just don't understand. I ordered the green mint quartz which I have in several pieces. The rhodium plating makes the ring look tarnished and competes with the crosshatch. It also washes out the color of the stone. I can't remember the last time I had to return a piece of Michael's jewelry. I don't know how they did it but the ring looked much better on TV and on line. Michael PLEASE make some new crosshatch pieces without the rhodium plating. The two stars are because the ring is made well and is comfortable. This is the first bad review I have ever left. Sad in California! 05-29-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed & Bummed Out When I caught a glimpse of this ring on the TV, my jaw dropped and I immediately ordered this one and the amethyst (because I couldn't decide). I was like a kid on Christmas when they arrived, and then the moment I hate...my face kinda dropped. I just didn't think either were as stunning in person as they were on TV. I love the cross hatch, I love the shape and love the style, but the big problem for me is the dark hematite that frames the stone. It just sort of looks more tarnished than edgy or modern, and it doesn't allow either stone color to pop because there's no real contrast. If I look closely I can also see where the hematite almost looks like it's coming off around the edges. I've worn both for a few days because I keep hoping my mind changes, because there's so much about them I love, but I'm just disappointed every time I look directly down on them. Great from the side, and then a bummer head on. I just can't justify the price if it doesn't knock my socks off. It does fit me true to size. 01-31-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Ring I recieved my Michael Dawkins Crosshatch Mint Quartz Ring today. It seems to run about 1/2 size small. The design is beautiful and well-balanced, but I think the ring would look better without the dark rhodium frame around the stone. To me the main focus should be on the stone. Instead your eyes are drawn immediately to the darker frame. The ring is well made, and there is a substantial silver presence. Somehow I feel an oval-shaped stone would give the fingers a long, slender look. I've got seven of Michael's rings as well as countless bracelets and necklaces. While this is a lovely ring, it is no where near being my favorite piece from him. 01-27-15
