Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worst purchase ever We bought the maxi climber after watching the presentation on tv. When we got it & put it together, it was very unsturdy & even had broken pieces.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from what a crummy piece of equipment... Now that I watch the vid more carefully, I can see that the struggle is real... I didn't feel like I was getting a work out AT ALL on this thing - just unwanted strain on my knees, while I struggled to stay on it & not tip it. Directions said "assemble in a few minutes" .. but, it took about 45 minutes to an hour, to make sure all the bolts were properly tightened, and everything else was in place, to prevent injury. My 17 yo daughter also tried it , and agreed that it was a waste of money. Walking or rebounding on a mini trampoline will still be our go-to's , for easy - effective work outs. Daughter is 5'4" - 150 . I am 5'8" - 135

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful What a waste of money, so mad at myself for not returning. As others have said feels unsafe to be on. Even on carpet this thing does not feel secure. Plus the safety pin I received is not safe, it does not lock in place. Qvc you sold us a piece of garbage! We should all get our money back!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Purchase I fell for the presentation, but in using it, I feel like an accident waiting to happen! Think it will have to go as a donation somewhere!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Noisy This is probably very good for cardio but boy is it noisy. I tried lubricating all the moving pieces but nothing is reducing the noise it makes. Any ideas.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Try a Tower instead.... I am absolutely disappointed with this thing. First of all, the middle piece is an obstruction to a workout. Depending on the size of your knees and thighs you may or may not be able to comfortably exercise on it. Secondly, it's huge. It's too bad it wasn't made to fold into something that could be stored under a bed. Finally, it feels somewhat unstable while using it. With a few tweaks here and there, this could potentially be an effective sturdy machine. "

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent leg workout This is perfect, it gives me a fantastic leg workout, legs get sore enough to know it works but not super sore. It surprised me by giving me a challenging cardio workout also. Plus it folds up to store it vertical against the wall or under bed. It IS very stable, I don’t know why others say it is unstable, maybe they have improper form, you can’t lean back, you have to stand upright (like you do climbing real stairs) and it’s perfectly stable. I love it!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glad I Purchased! I've only had my climber for close to two weeks. I started off very slow using the most assistance with the bands, not having my arms extended at the highest point for my height and only doing a few minutes at a time. I am already seeing a huge difference in my ability to go longer and am now using mid band assistance and have my arms fully extended up. I have no doubt I will be able to go 30 minutes at a time soon. I am 65, 5'1" and do not feel the climber to be unstable. I am using it on carpet. It has started to squeak a bit but from all the reviews I've read about this sport climber and the original maxi-climber that is the norm. All and all I am very happy with my purchase.
