Does What it Says
I have read the reviews. I have switched my colors for the 3rd time. I always watch her dvd, just as a refresher. Very easy to apply. I am slower on taking it off, I am right handed, so slower with the left. I get better and quicker each time. I am glad I bought this. I do agree that the replacement product should be available cheaper and not in a group...e.g. I need more remover, and would like to get a new nail file, and I will have to get a new soaker dish that I do not need. I work in a customer service position, and my co-workers laugh at the amount of compliments I get. I am a great spokesperson for Mally and QVC xo

Please sell items separately !!
I Love this gel nail kit and all products are gentle. I have no problems with application or removal. Only problem is getting refills on the main products. I would like to be able to purchase just the acetone (and other items individually) since I really do not need another soak tray and metal scrapper etc….and do not want to spend this much for all these other items I don't need. Since I can not purchase Mally's acetone without all the other items in this kit I too will be heading to a beauty supply store to purchase a $2.00 bottle of acetone. Also would like to see the acetone available in a bigger bottle. I hope Mally makes individual items available (in larger sizes too) in the near future!

removing polish without damaging nails
I don't have a great deal of trouble getting my polish off. I soak nails in pure acetone in Mally's tray for under five minutes and then take a wooden stick I got from beauty supply store that is slanted on one end and pointed on the other and diameter of pencil. This wooden stick is gentle on nails and the polish comes off rather quickly after breaking seal near cuticle. I soak for a minute or two, scrape with the wooden stick from cuticle towards end of nail to get off all polishl I can and repeat several times until all polish is off. I have removed polish about five times now and it is not difficult this way and has not damaged my nails.

Good Stuff, Just Need A Different Technique
The remover works fine, but what you have to do is soak the remover on a cotton ball then wrap your finger in foil. Do this for all 10 then set your timer 15 minutes. The heat from your finger will then activate the acetone speeding up the process. Then when you take off the foil the polish can be easily scraped from the nail. In some cases it will come off in big pieces. Dont scrape hard. Very gently on the polish. If you go too deep you damage the nail bed. Then gently buff your nail and apply the cuticle oil. Looks great.

Great Remover
This remover is the best! For those of you having problems it sounds like your layers of polish are too thick. If you put on very thin layers as it says to do and then break that seal by filing off the gloss before soaking, you shouldn't have any problems. I learned this the hard way myself. Once I got the layers thin enough, it came right off.

LOVE THE GEL POLISH BUT.....
You need to come up with a better way to remove this polish. I had to soak each hand
for an hour to get this polish to even start coming off. Then I still had to scrape some
of it off which obviously is not good for my nails. I went back to regular nail polish
after the last 2 hours of removing the gel polish.

damaged nails
I really tried to give this product a good try but have decided it just isn't good for my nails. I used to wear acrylic nails for years bur removed them 2 years ago. It took me 6 months to restore my nails from acrylic nails and now, with just 2 months using gel polish, my nails are just as damaged, weak and thin. I am returning this product and wanted everyone to know use at your own risk!

Terrible Process
I received this with the entire manicure kit. I was undecided about the kit until I actually had to remove the polish. I soaked, and soaked and soaked. It was not easy to budge. I ended up scraping and filing and was not at all happy with how it left my nail bed. I really don't think I'm a true lover of this system at all. Plus therer are other systems out there that are less expensive and remove easier. I'm glad this works for a lot of people, it just doesn't for me.

Beware
So many happy reviews about the nail system until you attempt to remove the gel polish. I will have to go and pay someone to help me and I am certain it will destroy my nails and it isn't even summer yet. Keeping polish on is a great idea, but not forever. I am SO sorry I painted my toe nails at the same time I painted my nails. WHAT A HUGE HUGE MISTAKE. Biggest mistake for me on a beauty item so far this year.

Soak Off Takes Patience
I bought the Mally nail system and am thrilled with the results. I've had professional manicure for years and got tired to spending the time and money it takes every 2 weeks. I will agree that the removal prosess takes some time. I would love to see this part improved, HOWEVER, this biggest reason I love the system is that the polish STAYS ON and DOES NOT CHIP. I guess there has to be a downside and that is the time it take to soak off the polish--a small price to pay for two weeks of perfect polish! Please bring a French manicure color to the line.

Can't return fast enough!!!!
This nail system is easy to use. Was actually thrilled with the results. THE GEL POLISH DOES NOT SOAK OFF! You have to SCRAPE AND SCRAPE AND SCRAPE! My nails are destroyed! I don't even know how i'll get this off my toes. I am so angy that I bought this whole system. I feel mislead by Mally and QVC. "Mama's" just go get a regular professional manicure!

Excellent Remover!!
I have had gel nails for about 1 year now, and I love everything about them except the removal process..until I found this kit. I have used Gelish remover and straight acetone, and they not only dry out the nails but take forever to come off. The Mally kit is great, the gel nails came off as promised and I did not have to scrape them until it was uncomfortable. The only issue is that the remover by itself is expensive. Could you consider making a bigger size?
