Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love spurtles! I bought these as stocking stuffers for the cooks in my family. It is something that once you try them, you'll find yourself ALWAYS reaching for them! Now I must share these with everyone I know who likes to cook!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from upsetting... I just received this purchase. I bought two sets to give as gifts to six people. the spurtles are lovely, the simple gift box; elegant. Imagine how upsetting it was when I discovered there was only one each of the warranty card and description card per set of three. Yeah, I am being polite. Yeah, I photo copied each one (4 times to have a total of 6), to place in each box... on my black and white printer... that only prints on plain paper. The price here, the product, even the gift box was not worth the frustration. maybe for anyone else buying this set it won't be a big deal, but it was to me. I simply don't have time to rework someone else's job. For your cheapness, one star.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from O If I Could . I have the first ones to come out. They were much better made. These seem to have been quickly made, just in time for Christmas. Very cheap and not finished. I opened first box , it was ok then decided to open and check them all, second box (the slotted one )the whole end was broken off . Didn’t bother to open last box . Back they go! If you really want these make sure you order the one set only and Not the set of three ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use I purchased this item based on the live demonstration on the show. I have used both pieces now and love them both. They are easy to use and easy to clean. I haven't gotten rid of the other items in my kitchen crock yet, but will be working on that soon!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tool! We already had two different Spurtle sets. We ordered these as gifts. The price is certainly a value, especially for a thoughtful (not a "throw away") gift. Everyone has a kitchen and needs utensils. From novice cook to chef, these are useful tools.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Rough! I purchased 2 sets to give as Christmas gifts. Sadly, I had to return them because the wood was too rough. I agree with the other customers who said the color varied greatly, but that didn't bother me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from An over rated wooden utensil The first time I used the slotted Spurtle, it splinted. I tried to separate an egg yolk from an egg as demonstrated only to realize that it takes practice. This is an overrated set of wooden utensils. I will not be throwing away my other favorite kitchen tools. I purchased far more superior wooden utensils in a kitchen store.
