Rated 2 out of 5 by Florida Foodie Good recipes, poor presentation
I enjoyed the recipes in this cookbook, but it was ruined by the layout and presentation chosen. The font is busy, much too small for comfortable reading. The print is exceedingly light except for the ingredients, which are listed in heavier and darker but still small print, so it is difficult to read directions and commentary. There are not photos for every recipe, and sometimes what photos are there are not on the same page as the recipe, with up to four different recipe photos per page.. The photos look professional and are good, but the paper used to print the entire book is dull and not "finished" or "polished"; this means it is even more difficult to read the typeface and makes the photographs appear dull and uninteresting. I will keep this book but will not buy another by this author because based on information in the book she has apparently used the same design team for her other books as wll.

Working full time and cooking great meals at home don't always go hand in hand. The MAD HUNGRY line of cook books and equipment have allowed me to learn how to pick up a few inexpensive items and turn them into quick, easy and delicious meals.
I love the book because it isn't geared toward one diet or style of cuisine. I can use recipes out of this book everyday and never get bored. It has been really great to find a cookbook that is truly geared towards feeding a hungry family. Thank you!
