Gorgeous style with cheap construction
I was really excited to order this bag. After searching for weeks and looking at many brands, I thought this was a stand out style. After receiving it and using it for awhile there are a few things I do love about it. The size is perfect, love the front pocket on the outside for easy access to my blackberry, and the leather is really soft. While it looks great from a distance, I unfortunately have to say that I am really disappointed with the handles. They are flat on the inside and seem to be made of flimsy cardboard. The quality of construction on this critical piece of the bag just doesn't seem to match the rest of the bag, which is well made. These are about the cheapest handles I've ever seen on a bag and aren't very comfortable on the arm. Because they are not finished on one side and hang open, I will not use the longer shoulder strap. All in all I do like the bag but hope RZ revisits and upgrades the construction on the handles.

Fabulous Purse
This is my seond Rachel Zoe purse that I've bought. I bought this purse in wine, my other one is black, and I just love it!! The color is beautiful, It's not too big but just a perfect size. It's very soft leather and having the detachable strap is great too. I love the long strap though because of the metal on it. Makes it just kinda fun. I definetely would recommend this purse to anyone. So if your sitting on the fence jump off an buy it. It's also a great price.

Big disappointment
First of all, although the handles are flat on the inside and fit very nicely together when one holds the purse, the insides of these handles are unfinished, so when you carry the purse with the long strap and the handles fold open, this unfinished part is exposed. Looks really downmarket.
The leather is plastic-y average and RZ's insignia is very shoddy dull metal.
All round, this bag does not represent Rachel Zoe's products. It lacks class and sophistication. This is more of a bag you would find in a secondary department store.
I would imagine the bags she sells at Neiman's are a better quality.
I do like the long strap option however, but thats it.
Back it goes.

Beautiful Purse!
I bought this purse in the cognac and I get so many compliments when I wear it and I have to say that it goes with everything. It does seem like a large bag but once you begin to put your things into it - it fills up very quickly and is very sturdy. I think I will go back for the black.

Love the Cognac!!!
I just received this satchel in the cognac and I have to say that it is very beautiful and soft but it seems as though the material once dirty will be very hard to clean (hence the 4 stars). It is a very large bag so if you are not looking for a heavy bottomless purse then this is not for you but I love all of the space and the detachable strap is a plus.

Nice bag, but some problems
This is a nice bag -- well constructed, beautiful leather, and very attractive when worn. It makes an outfit look more professional.
I have three issues with this bag. First, the handles are simply not couture quality. The way they are made is like something I would expect from a discount store. They're not comfortable, they don't look polished, they don't go with the rest of the bag.
Second, the bag snaps rather than zips closed -- with one not very secure snap -- and so I feel like whatever I'm carrying could fall out.. I keep things in the inside zipper pockets for safety.
Third, the bag loses some of its shape after a few uses. The leather is nice and soft, but that means the bag is headed to becoming more of a sack than a satchel.

Disappointed
I was looking forward to having my first RZ piece-what a disappointment when I took this bag out of the box. It looks like pleather-the hardware is half bronze and half matted silver. I really wanted to love it, but for $129 you can get a better looking bag.

Just Right...
I received my bag two weeks ago and I haven't experienced any problems with the bag. I have been looking at many satchels but couldn't quite see me paying the price for some of them. So I when I came across this bag, I said I'll giver her RZ a try. I've never heard of her line before, but figured I couldn't go wrong with the easy pay price. Well, I'm glad I did because I do like my bag. The Wine and Black looked like pleather, so thats why I went with the suede. The bag is well made and all of the zippers work. You have enough pockets to stick the your entire house in, so be careful. The strap is long enough & the handles are sturdy. In my opinion, the suede satchel is a good buy. Only suggestion, can you make this style available in other "suede" colors like Olive, or Burgandy?

Disappointed
I purchased this handbag in black and it came today and I was disappointed because of the hardware. The silver chain and other hardware just looks so cheap. If the hardware looked better I would keep it. The cognac suede looks beautiful but I don't need that color: I really needed a good black leather bag.

Beautiful Purse......
This is my first purchase from Rachel Zoe, and I'm glad I purchased this purse. I feel like a celebrity when I carry this purse. I have received several compliments on my purse today at work and when i went out to lunch. I will definitely be back to purchase something else fron this line. The material on this purse is soft and the inside of the purse is so spacious. I'm defintely happy with my purchase and the option of the flex pay....

Very Chic!
I love this bag! The leather is so soft! It has plenty of room and pockets for everything! I love both the double handles and the detachable strap because I use both constantly, switching back and forth, and they do not interfere with each other. I also feel very chic when carrying this bag!
