Out of this World
I have purchased every brand and every model of battery operated candles. These are by leaps and bounds the most realistic. I have some of the Candle Impressions another reviewer raved about. Maybe they didn't turn on the Luminara? I agree that the on/off/timer print could be made more legible and it would also be great if the plastic on the bottom covered the entire candle. I just took a sharpie and darkened the print and then cut a circle out of the plastic surrounding the candle and placed it underneath. Every mass produced item is about to have a few lemons, but I absolutely haven't had any issues so far. Lovely and charming.

LOVE these candles
I have a lot of battery operated candles, but these are my all time favorites! They are beautiful and SO realistic! Everyone thinks they are real. The timer works great and they are wonderful to use in the home. Highly recommended!

LOVE THESE
My daughter tried to blow one out the other day! They are so real; the ability to set the timer and forget about it is wonderful. I came home last night to candle light in my home. So warm, so inviting, will buy more for self, and will give as gifts.

Love Them . . . One Suggestion
I would love it if all the flameless candles were clearly marked on the bottom " On Off Timer". All of them seem to print it on the bottom really small, white on white. Would it be so difficult to print it in black so that we could see it without reading glasses and standing next to the window for light? Other than that, love them!!!!!

Very nice, but......
I bought this because I wanted a red one to go with the other colors I already have. They didn't have the smooth finish in 7in, so I got this one. The only prob is it doesn't work with the remote like the others, which kinda defeats the purpose of sitting on your couch and clicking them on, lol. Other than that, it's ok.
For those who complain of the strong scent, you might try leaving the plastic wrapper on the candle....it cuts that down considerably.

Very Realistic
I really love the luminara candle, but would there be any way of getting them unscented?? I bought the ivory, and the vanilla scent was VERY strong. I had to air it out in my garage. It's not as strong now but you can still smell it, and it's not a very pleasing scent, it's very perfumey. If QVC can get them unscented I would order 1 for every room in my home.

Picture Pretty
We have a garden window and I've placed 2 flameless candles on opposite ends of the top shelf. They are spectacular! We like the warmth it lends to the window during any season of the year. This was an excellent purchase. We liked it so much we're giving it as a gift.

Not my favorite.
First, I love the natural flame. I have other of this type and love the look. However, this red is not pretty to me. I wanted a darker red. The smell is just too strong and bothered my asthma.
Maybe toward Christmas I will find the darker red with scrolling. Please, no smell. Maybe even in a 6 inch wide.? Had to send all this color back.

You have to see it to believe it!
You have to see it in person to believe it. These candles are unbelievably realistic! I am buying these for myself and to stash away as part of my adult children's Christmas gifts. I have a set of the candlesticks that I keep on the timer, and the only downside to these is if you use them on timer constantly they seem to run the batteries out quicker than normal. Other than that , you have to see it to believe it. If you buy one, you will want more!

I have tried them all and I would own a million of these if I could! I have numerous now and absolutely LOVE them. You would swear it is the real thing!

Great concept and looks like real
These look amazingly real and I am buying more and more to replace all other flameless around my house. Only design change I want to request is to make the bottom plastic cover go out to the full diameter of the candle so the wax does not touch my wood furniture or surfaces. I was able to repair the because I think there was not fragrance in the wax, but it was a nuisance. Take a little care in where you place these and you will be in love too.
