London Fog Norton Frame Satchel with Convertible Strap
Beautiful satchel/poor quality
I loved this satchel, however, the straps all broke. If I had used the satchel everyday, I could see where the straps might break but I rotate my handbags and for the amount of use this satchel got the quality wasn't there.
Not a Happy Camper
I had purchased this satchel color Harvest Feb-1-2013 when visting QVC on tour, went to store and liked this right away it is very nice looking. Yesterday March 21st one handle broke off fhe satchel, I never carry much inside because it would be too Heavy so this must be a defect. Cannot return because it is over 30 days so I super glued the handle so I may continue to use this as at this time I cannot afford to make another purchase for a handbag. Going forward I will Never purchase a London Fog Satchel or anything else cannot afford the loss.
Aside of this I must say if anyone can go on the tour for QVC go for it as it is well worth it.!
Finally A True "Doctor's Satchel"
Finally a true satchel that opens wide like a box. This is great for work travel.
Not a good product at all
London Fog should stick to coats. I wish these reviews were on here BEFORE I ordered this bag. Obviously it is a poorly made handbag. This bag fell apart in a week. Metal pieces fell off. Material broke on handle. Take it off the market. Norma
I bought this bag and used it for a month and a half and the metal pins that hold the handles on fell off in the store -- actually two of them! I found the pin for one and my husband used a bolt from the garage to reattached it -- needless to say it looks terrible. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HANDBAG FROM LONDON FOG! Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this bag!
Have only had this bag a couple of months. Handle is attached with fabric to a metal ring. One side simple tore off from the ring and can not longer use this bag. Too late to return. What a waste of money.
Pewter Bag Is Seriously Flawed!
I purchased two of these bags. The first in mahogany and later the pewter. The pewter bag was purchased for a friend. Within the first 10 days of using the bag the hardware fell off. I returned the bag
The bag was much larger than it looked online also I did not like the way the shoulder strap attached to the bag.
Not Well Made
The bag was beautiful when it arrived, but it was downhill from then, One zipper pull fell off the first hour, the second a couple of days later. The stitching on the handle started to unravel, no way this bag was going to last. I was really disappointed in London Fog, they used to make quality items.
I really love this bag but it is simply too big/wide. I love the frame opening which allows you to see the whole interior. The ruby ostrich was fairly soft and gorgeous. If they made a smaller version, I would definitely buy. I thought the whole bag could use a little more solid structure to prevent slouching, but this wouldn't even be a problem if the bag was smaller. I could deal with the large look of the bag, but the size made it awkward to carry. Very sad to send it back.
Loved the bag--then the handle broke!!
I had the bag for 3 weeks when the strap broke. The bag is gorgeous (pewter) and the handles were also well made--very comfortable on the crook of the arm. The problem was the flap of fabric on the purse that holds the handle ring to the bag--walking across a parking lot, the whole thing fell apart. I loved the bag--please fix this design flaw as I would love to reorder when the problem is fixed. The quality of the bag was otherwise excellent. Wish it was fixable. Sending it back.
3rd London Fog bag from Q-LOVES IT!!!
I purchased the charcoal gray ostrich with silver hardware. Yes, it's not REAL, but I think it's stylin'. Wipes off easily and I am not afraid to get it wet or dirty. Love the size, satchels are not meant to be small & I keep a small crossbody inside for errands. With the large mouth frame opening, I can see all my "stuff"! Not to mention, London Fog's lite gray interiors on these Q bags get a big thumbs up making it easy to see inside. The 3 slip pockets and 1 zip pocket inside are helpful. Glad there is an outside zip too for keys. I like having the option of both straps. If I had any wishes for London Fog, it would be to lighten the weight up a smidge and use more silver or gunmetal hardware and make a small crossbody with wallet style. I have used my satchel for a month now and highly recommend it.
