Great jacket, true to size except sleeves a bit long.

I love this jacket! I was given this as a present and it's been the best present all year. We've had snow with temperatures down into the teens and this jacket has kept me warm. As in, I'm wearing a short sleeve shirt under it and that's all, warm. I'm 5'3 about 130lb and I am wearing a small. The sleeves are a tad long, but that's ok it's more coverage, right!! Fits no problems over my chest (and I'm working with some size D boobs) and no issues with tightness anywhere else. It's not a bulky jacket, keep in mind. Nice and snug, so if you like to layer a lot under jackets then go a size up. It's nice to not have to carry gloves and a scarf. The pull over neck/face protector is great. Keeps my neck and face warm. The gloves are a little bulky and hard to use your hands, but they keep you warm. Overall, great jacket!

Too bulky with extras that aren't needed when the weather dictates performance 1st layer and a fleece. Thought it would be nice to have the built in gloves, but I am 5'4" with average length arms & the thumb is too high. Oddly the mitten is too long. Returning this and sticking with separates I can clip to my jacket or stow in my pack.

Purchased this jacket for my 13 year old 140lb 5ft 5in daughter. She refuses to wear a coat even in cold 15 degree weather. She can not stand the bulkiness in many jackets. She normally wears a small/medium in women's...she is not a tiny slender kid nor is she thick or a plus size...she wears an average regular women's size 9. I read through all the reviews and purchased a size Large. The sleeves are a tad long, yes..but they actually do not hang so long that it is a problem...once the mittens are on its fine. The length helps being she wears a sweat jacket or heavy shirt underneath with the ability to move freely. Its a tad loose around the waist but we snugged it up with the pull cord a little...she's still a girl so simply is not as large as a grown women is what I'm thinking. She loves the purple color and the quirkiness of the built in gloves and hat/mask/face thing.
On the other side, I was hoping to purchase another in XL for my 20 year old daughter who is 5ft 1in 165lbs (she wears a 38DD) she is considered petite in height. When she tried on the LARGE: Again the sleeves were very long, but not to long as to be an issue. She found it extremely tight under the arms and found it impossible to zip up it would not even pull closed across her chest.
This is a very nice jacket, well made. But the issue is the proportions. The sleeves are not cut large enough for a average sized women in the width..the armpit area is cut to small/short , there no room for movement, .the length is a tad to long. The front chest area will not accommodate a women who has boobs larger then a C.
Its cut more as a youth sized jacket I feel. Maybe a junior womens...but avoid this if you are even close to being a plus size lady....it just does not have the room.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Baileyb Wonderful Jacket For Full Range Of Activities
I bought one of these for myself, to do my daily 5 mile walks around my house in the winter. I was tired of stuffing my pockets with hat, neckwarmer, gloves, etc., then dropping something along the way and backtracking to find it. My husband wanted one, then my sister, then nephew, and bottom line we've bought 8 of these so far in my family! We all brought them to a winter vacation in Jackson Hole, and they have worked out great. I snowshoed yesterday in near zero degree weather and my jacket kept me nice and warm. Admittedly, I wore layers underneath including a thin down vest, but that it a great feature. It's mid weight so comfortable for less severe cold weather by itself, and roomy enough for adding layers for really cold stuff. Besides not needing a bunch of other paraphernalia like gloves and hats, I really like that when you're all bundled up there are no "seams" for cold air to get in. The built in neckwarmer and gloves work really great and are very easy to use. I probably won't wear this jacket when I don't think I need the gloves, because the sleeves are long by design to make the gloves work, so they have to be "scrunched up" on your arm when you aren't using the gloves and that's a little bulky and uncomfortable. But I highly recommend this jacket for people who walk dogs, exercise walk, or enjoy other outdoor winter activities.
Rated 2 out of 5 by SAT in DC Sleeves are Very Snug
Not being sure of the fit, II purchased two jackets one Small, one Medium. I immediately returned the Small. I dress in layers and the Medium was a better fit- early November. It is now cold in mid-December, I dress in layers and mostly do not often wear a coat. However, on this frigid Thursday morning, I tried to get one arm thru the sleeve and could not without a major tug, there was no getting the other arm thru. Mind you I am a true small, size six. The sleeve length was fine, I have long arms; however, the snugness of the arms is now causing me to return the jacket.
Rated 4 out of 5 by KHawaii Great fall/mild cold jacket
This is a great coat for fall and mild winter days. It's not that great for artic chills like this polar vortex we're having. The glove and gaiter features are pretty cool and do keep you warm. I got a medium and it fit well. Not sure why other reviews said it was too tight of a fit.
Rated 5 out of 5 by NYCshpr Still my favorite 2 year later!
I got this jacket almost 2 years ago and it is still my favorite. It is honestly the best thing for going out and walking the dog in the morning and evening. I throw it on, and I don't need to worry about gloves, a hat, or a scarf. I slip the face mask over my head and use it as a scarf or face mask if its really cold, and I love the built in gloves - I see a lot of people in here saying the sleeves are too long - they're MADE like that - the point is that there are 2 ways you can use the gloves - either flip out the full on mitten, or have the sleeve cover you arms the whole way down and there are interior pocks to put your hands - kindof like a half-glove. When it's snowing out I've put the full mitten on and de-covering the car. This is the BEST piece of clothing I own and I recommend it to everyone.
