I ordered these jeans as a lunch time special. I am 5 feet tall and wear a 16 or 18 pant. I typically default to the 18, which is what I purchased. I am full in the belly and have large thighs. These jeans fit beautifully. The regular length fit me as a full length pant. I have now ordered a pair in the petite.

I've always like Liz Claiborne, so was happy to see these stretch jeans. Reading the reviews, I wasn't sure what size to order as some said the jeans run big, while others said they run true to size. I used to buy a lot of Liz 20-30 years ago (when I was a smaller size), because the brand is cut full in the hips and thighs, so I ordered two colors each in two of the plus sizes (20 and 22). I have more of a tummy nowadays, but still have a waist and full hips/thighs. The reason I'm posting this review is to say if you're full figured with hips and thighs, don't size down. I can wear a 20 in Quacker Factory, but the 22 in these jeans fit well. Although I'm short (5'2"), I'm glad I ordered the regular instead of the petite. The length is good and they don't fit like hip huggers. My husband told me to order a few more pairs!
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mogle Where did the crease go?
I ordered a pair of these jeans awhile ago. Love the fit and especially the weight of the fabric. I'm an old lady so I iron just about everything. These jeans came with a "set in " crease. In the washer and dryer and they come out like I had just ironed them. Recently I ordered the other 2 colors. Pants are fine but this time they were folded flat---no nice crease down the front. Now I have to iron them each time I launder them. I won't send them back but I sure wish Liz would put the crease back.

I agree with other reviews about these jeans running large. I went down a size and they fit fine in the waist but my complaint is the wording "slim leg". I have inches of material on either side of my legs. They are definitely not slim. Unfortunately I had to send them back. They fit more like a boyfriend fit than slim.

After reading the reviews I ordered a size 14, I normally wear a size 16. The size 14 looks to be a size 18, and this is a stretchy fabric. I have to send these back, but if the size 12 is available I will order it, as i like the cut and material.

I am 5'3 1/2 inches and usually wear a size 16. I ordered the 14 after reading the other reviews. more than likely I could have gone down to size 12. The regular comes just to top of shoe,so if your my height and looking for an ankle Jean, I'd recommend the petite . And yes the pants run large and stretch. Very comfortable but by end of the day I constantly need to pull them up.

Really glad I read the reviews on this one as I ordered my regular size (as in Denim & Co and Woman With Control) in jeans and also a size smaller. My usual size are a bit big but not huge so I'm keeping them for days when I want to feel extra relaxed. But the smaller size fit like a dream. The larger size is a bit large in the waist but not so much that it's a deal breaker. Again, I'm keeping both and feel like I got a great bargain with these extremely well made jeans. Yay!

Maybe it was because I have a size 22 backside but, still, there are pants that are made that when you put them on, you do not see what you are not supposed to see. These pants are NOT one of those. I was exposed in the back. It was one of those sterotypes where you saw the plumber working on something and you thought "WOW, you really need to hike those pants up!" I would have if I could have. Back they went.

I own three other pair of Jackie pants which fit me well. These are huge.
Sent them back. Too bad because I wanted the lighter jeans and slim ankle style.

I agree with the other reviewers who said these jeans run large. I can take them off without opening the button or zipper. To size down one size should resolve the problem. I tried washing them in hot water and putting them in the dryer to no avail.
