Nothing super great about these pair of jeans......
Rated 2 out of 5 by Mystique1 These are not what I would call Trouser Jeans!!!
First let me say they are a petite inseam, its a typo in the description, I asked CS about it when ordered both colors. Please IF you order ask what nseam is, maybe they will correct the mistake. The jeans are well made, nice denim, like the tux strip down the side of jean, fit is spot on (PT 6 I don't wear heels unless forced to ~ back injury). BUT they are NOT a trouser jean IMHO. They are straight from hip to hem, not tapered at hips with a flare flowing down to the hem (thats what I have always seen as a trouser jean). I have a pair of the Liz NY Hepburn trouser jeans. LOVE them but that inseam is 32, didn't come in petite...but I love them they are a dressier jean look that I like. Decided to keep the jeans just for around the house because of shipping cost to return much to high. I was fortunate I buy them when they were a Lunchtime Special, I would have paid more to return than I paid for the jeans. You know Lunchtime Specials are rapid buys no time to think, check reviews if its a great item & price because some savy shopper will buy it while you are on the phone, pc and oops its gone in your size, color, etc.
Still looking for a true trouser jean like the Hepburn that I don't have to pay to be altered. As for recommending, only IF the person could see the jeans on or understood why I don't consider them a trouser leg jean.
Come on Liz NY please bring a petite 'Hepburn" trouser style in to the line(something very similar to the style Lisa wears on PM style), thats what I would like to find. I don't care if you name it Jackie or Hepburn or just Trouser jean. I do hesitate to order clothing because of misinformation about sizing, style, color issues when its said/printed to be 1 thing and it's not & I have to pay s&h twice. Other than that QVC is my 'go to' for most everything! I have love most all of the Liz NY I have gotten, but these were a disappointment simply because I thought they were a trouser cut jean. I gave 3 stars for quality, color, weight, and fit of the jeans. Minus for misprint in inseam and not a trouser jean as I think a trouser jean should fit. These are straight, no style (aside from the tux strip down leg),when folded leg to leg and measured they are the same from inseam to hem, that is not a trouser cut to me. No I don't want the hippie bell bottoms, just a nice fitted hip with a nice flare down, maybe I can find one soon. Thx Q for being my #1 shopping experience. Please correct the inseam length typo on these jeans for your customers. RE: sizing is ONLY about fit on me NOT the large straight legs. They fit in waist & hips inseam is a petite but thats where it all ends.

Just my type of jeans; love the flare!!! Very comfy too!

I can't believe anyone would consider 32" as petite!!!

I like the material of these pants two stars for that but the style is terrible. They are strait leg alright but the circumference at the bottom of med. is 21 inches. If you have big legs these are for you.

I ordered both colors in petite and both are perfect fit. The straight legs are exactly what I was looking for.
I had to wash them immediately since they stank. Tried both after the wash and the length did not feel right. Before wash the inseam was 29", but afterwards they both shrank. The medium inseam is now 27" long and dark is 28".
Both are going back and I already ordered my size in regular. Too bad that I will have to pay extra to shorten both pairs.

I was disappointed with these and am sending them back. The fit in the waist and hips was great, and the fabric was thick and very comfy...BUT...the legs are soooooooo wide. They look kinda stupid, and even though very dark, I looked wide and thick-legged. NOt flattering..they need to be boot cut instead.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nana Linda Very nice jeans, BUT, be warned...
This is the first Liz Claiborne jeans I have purchased. They are a unique style with the tuxedo like strip down the side of the legs.
I would have given them 5 stars, but WOW does the fabric STINK!!! Taking them out of the packaging, the odor almost knocked me out. I laundered them with those Downy Unstopable scent crystals in the bottom of the washer, used the same scent detergent and the same scent Downy fabric softener. Opened the washer and I could still smell that odor. Yes, it was lessened a good deal, but still present. I am wearing them now and every once in a while, I catch a whiff of that smell. I have been spraying my perfume on repeatedly, trying to mask the odor. I am hopeful that it will fade with future washings. It better any way!!!!
