Liz Claiborne New York Herringbone Zip Front Jacket is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile, work or play i have had many compliments on this jacket, including compliments from younger women in the office. Great fit in my usual size 6. Love the light weight for spring. I feel that the fabric does not wrinkle. It is a linen blend. You should not expect a stiff cotton feel. This jacket is great with trousers, jeans or a maxi dress.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another Liz Claiborne disappointment I have to begin by saying, I am a huge Liz Claiborne fan. However, as others have stated, the quality has been lacking lately. This is just another example. I still gave this jacket a chance, even after reading all the negative reviews. Reviews are correct, sizing is extremely on the small size, even after going up one size. Fabric is extremely thin, even for a lightweight jacket. And lastly, the quality of fabric does not live up to Liz Claiborne standards, as far as I am concerned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Order up one or two sizes! I usually wear a 10/12/14, depending on style because I'm busty. I saw the reviews and when it was on Lunchtime Special, I ordered a 16, which normally would be too big. When it arrived today, I pulled it out and said, wow...this isn't a 16 at all...it looked like a 10/12. It fits though so I'm happy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beware of size I ordered this on a lunchtime special. After reading all the reviews about it running small and saying to order size up I did. Well one size up is not enough. You need at least two sizes up. The lunchtime special was less then the clearance price but by the time I pay the $6.95 fee to return it and hope the next size fits I think I'll try to sale this to a friend and then order the next size. If not I'm just returning. I like the jacket. Very light weight great for fall or early spring. Liz Claiborne always seems to run small. They really need to work on that.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Still not sure I'm keeping this one I normally love Liz Claiborne clothes from the Q, but am not sure about this jacket, sale price or not. The fabric is my hesitation about keeping it, and while I can still return it, every time I see it hanging in my closet, I wonder if i'll take it out and actually wear it. When it first came, I had to press it...very carefully...because of all the seams in the design, but still this fabric just does NOT look very nice. I sew and understand being careful to press along seams to finish the look of a garment, but this was difficult to remove wrinkles from shipping and even some seam-puckering, although I tried pressing both the inside and the outside. The navy herringbone I ordered looks only gray'ish (more than navy blue) and is just kind of 'blah'. Really not as attractive as on-air..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good buy Like the style and weight (light). However, when I washed the jacket it was at least a size smaller when I tried it on. You need to go up one or two sizes to allow for the size you wear and to allow for shrinkage. Also, the jacket has to be ironed and not touched upon.... returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect jacket for me I read previous reviews so sized up 1 size and the jacket fit perfectly. It is thin but I live in Miami, Fl so it's perfect for my needs. Stitching and style beautiful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs very small and fabric rough Others are right about this jacket running small. I'm 5'4", about 135 lbs. and have a 39" chest (36B). I've found that ordering the next size up, if for a 40" or 40.5" chest, gives me a nice-fitting jacket. So, since a size 6 is for a 39" chest, I ordered the 8. I'm surprised at just how small it is. I'm not even sure the 10 will be large enough. If it is, the sleeves will undoubtedly be too long, but, then, aren't all sleeves too long these days. Plus the fabric is a bit too rough, so I'm still not sure whether I'll return for a 10 or just return it.
