Rated 5 out of 5 by Shewarrior Very Nice Skirt
I just received this skirt in the charcoal color in a size 18. It is very well made and fit me well. I am 5'4", weigh too much and carry my weight in my middle. I was able to snag this at a lunchtime special price and am very pleased with it. I just wore it to church with a white button down blouse and a plum colored cardigan with a gray patterned scarf and it looked very nice. My husband even commented that he thought the skirt was nice.

I've wanted this skirt for a while and finally ordered it when it was a lunch time special. I read some of the reviews before ordering about the weird sizing and so I ordered 2 different sizes. The skirt is very well made, but the sizing is all wrong. The skirt that did "fit" I had to pull up almost under my bust, which made the pockets sit in a weird position and the fabric gathered/stretched in a weird way across my stomach. I sent it back the next day.
Rated 5 out of 5 by JTLA Well Made - Size Up!
I love this skirt and usually wear a 2-4. I ordered a 4 and it was snug so I returned it for the 6. QVC's clothes are normally swimming on me even in the smallest size so I thought the 4 would work, but I need a 6 just for a little extra comfort. Otherwise, the skirt is beautifully made and well worth the money.

Thank you Mary Beth, because I listened and sized up one from the chart so it fits PERFECTLY through the hips, but because I am 5'9, I will take the two skirts to my seamstress and let the hem down all the way. Thank you Linda and your staff for leaving an inch hem for those of us who wish to have it slightly longer, and this also shows a more expensive finish! This grey fabric appears upscale because of the plaid design, the soft feel, and with its fully lined application. It is also very nice that I was able to purchase this at the discount price, so I also ordered the brown, a definite win, win buy!

I ordered this skirt in both colors along wit matching jackets in hopes of having suits. I ordered my normal size 10, the brown skirt fit a little tight, but was ok. Figured like most people my weight goes up and down a bit so it would be ok. The black skirt was loose. If I lost any weight the skirt would be falling off me.
The jackets were a BIG disappointment. The fit was way off. The seams and dart placement was not right. Buttoned up it looked strange and unbuttoned or part way buttoned looked ever stranger. For the price ALL 4 pieces have been sent back. I give 2 stars for the skirts if you can get the right size. The jackets only get 1 star.

This skirt is cut very narrow. Unless you are shaped like a boy this isn't the skirt for you. I returned for a larger size and although it fits I am not sure I'll keep it. I also ordered the jacket and that was 2 sizes too small and had to return. Too bad because the fabric is nice.

I gave this skirt two stars based solely on the hand of the fabrication and the subtlety of the plaid. Both are quite lovely. But as for the fit...unless you're prepared either to look as if you're wearing a sausage casing, or to size up at least two sizes, I cannot recommend this skirt. It does not adhere to its own sizing measurements. I, further, would ask if Liz Claiborne is not prepared to return its manufacturing process from China, that it would, at the very least, use U.S. fit models and not Asian ones. This skirt would be FABULOUS - if it fit.
