Liz Claiborne New York Essentials Ponte Knit Pull-on Skirt is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great for me I wanted a work-appropriate, A-line skirt. Pencil skirts are everywhere but not my favorite. I have a large belly and wanted something that wouldn't accentuate my midsection the way a pencil skirt often does. I bought the black in a 1x. It fits well, not clingy but not baggy. The length was a tiny bit long for me. I'm 5' 5 and 1/2" but I found I could simply pull the waist up closer to my bra line to get the length I wanted----and frankly, because of my large belly, wearing the skirt that way is more comfortable for me anyway. I could see wearing this year-round. It's a perfect weight and barely wrinkles. Very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Liz Claiborne Makes an Awesome Quality Skirt! I have three of these skirts. What led me to seek them out one may ask? I purchased other skirts from the Liz Claiborne line during a sale 2 years ago and they looked good, felt great and could be depended upon with little fuss. So naturally I sought and bought three of these wonderful skirts and am so very pleased once again. They are kind to different figures and are clearly quality you don't often see. Thanks QVC and Liz Claiborne!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A wardrobe stable! Got the red & blue in size LG. This is a must have. An "A" line style doesn't goes out of style. Can dress it up or down, & perfect for work. The material is perfect- not too heavy or light.- can wear year around. My only complaints is that it might cling to unslightly lumps & bumps, & that it might have to be shorten/hemmed up a little. Otherwise, this is a perfect little skirt. You will get years of wear out of.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Workhorse Skirt I am going to wear this skirt to death. The material has substance and only wrinkles under extreme circumstances (like when I fell asleep in it one evening), but then sheds wrinkles easily, and didn't pill as some more delicate ponte knits will. The only reason why I gave the product less than five stars is because the black dye had a slight walnut tone -- not a deep deep black. I bought two for me in medium (true to size), and one for my step-daughter (24 years old) in a large size at a crazy-good price. I am 5'2.5" tall and 170 lbs presently, with a thickening waist but still hourglass figure. Works for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skirt! This skirt is great. It is a heavy material, but isn't scratchy. It hangs well, and has a nice shape to it. I have it in the khaki, black and blue colors, and am thinking about getting it in red as well. I am wearing it now, in the summer, with lightweight shirts, and sandals or wedges. In the fall it will be substantial enough to wear with a jacket and boots. It washes well. I think this is a great addition to any working woman's closet! I have an XL, and it fits like Liz Claiborne's other XL skirts that I have purchased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely Disappointed! Where do I start? I really thought this would work on my apple shape, but it looks hideous on. The a-line is all wrong--I have never seen such a wide skirt in my life. It is shorter on the sides than it is in the front and back so it puckers everywhere. The fabric is scratchy and the burlap is matronly. The only pro is that it fits well in the waist and hides the tummy area. But, if you carry any extra weight in your back side, beware! It bunches up badly in the back. Does not look anything like the photos. My worst QVC purchase...sorry. I usually love LCNY.
