Liz Claiborne New York Essentials 3/4 Sleeve Shrug is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Transition Piece. I thought this would be the perfect weight for the late summer/ fall period. And it is. Right now it is too hot for even a lightweight jacket, but I do not feel comfortable with bare arms, so this charming little piece is just perfect, it just adds a nice "chic" finish to jeans and a "T" shirt or tank without the bulk and weight. I bought the Khaki, and I have just gone back for the black.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just ok I ordered in the khaki (believe that was the color name!) is lighter than it looks on air and online. Fit was true to size, quality nice, I was hoping it would be darker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice ! I'm new to shrugs or little upper arm covering things as is my purpose for them when a sweater would be just too hot. I found these and got the khaki and it's a hair bigger than my 2X, but that was perfect as I wash in hot and dry hot and it came out w/ minimal shrinkage, so was just right. Love the lit detail on the sleeves so they aren't just flat, and the square front panels are much more tummy hiding than others that are rounded ! The neck is up high enuff too almost like a collar ? All and all I don't tnink i'ld change a thing !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Summer Coverage I like the fact that this shrug is not a sweater-knit weight, but more of a tee-shirt weight because I was looking for something to wear over my sleeveless maxi dresses. Anything heavier than this would be too hot. Granted, sweater-knit shrugs are a must have ...and I have quite a few ... but it's nice to have a variety in your wardrobe. I got this in my usual QVC size, XS in the light taupey color to go with a Liz maxi and also a Denim & Co maxi. It's a perfect "café-au-lait" shade. The ruched sleeves are convenient and the cut is flattering but not as form-fitting as other shrugs. It's a nice length too: I'm 5'3" tall and it hits just above my waist. More colors would be good. I agree with another reviewer who said that gray would be a good addition to the lineup!
