Nice Looking Belt
I had read the other reviews before purchasing this belt in the Acorn color. I'm glad people pointed out that the holes were somewhat smaller than they should have been for ease of use. I took the end of a picture hanging nail to poke through the holes and turned and twisted it several times to loosen the openings. It worked perfectly. This is now one of the belts I wear frequently. I recommend it as a value at the clearance price if you don't mind working with it for a few minutes to fix the problem. I would not recommend it as a gift since it does need to be "fixed" before wearing.

Great belt!
I bought this in the acorn and navy -both are very nice. Great, classic look to the belt. I do agree that it is difficult getting the closure open, but it's not horrible, and if it were 'easy' to open, then everyone would be complaining that it was falling off as they wore it. I'd rather struggle a bit opening it and be sure that it was going to stay put while wearing it!

Beware!
This is a cute belt, nice colors, nice price. The only thing is I thought I was going to wear it the rest of my life! It is so difficult to remove the hook from the hole. I need an orange but a little worried about wearing it, probably should have returned it.

Classic
This belt is classic. Very stylish. The buckle is difficult to work because the holes need to be a bit bigger but it looks very nice and fits well. You can wear it more or less cinched which gives it a different look, either way it looks good. I did return mine but not because of the belt, it was because of my figure. It would look best on thinner figures or even hour glass figures, which I used to have.

Like this belt
I find this belt to be attractive and versatile. I have had no problem with the fastener and wonder if those who have took the plastic protector off the ball before trying to put it through the hole. (Fortunately, I saw this demonstrated by the hosts before purchasing or might have made the same mistake.)

Sorry not worth it
My first impression kind of cheesy.....secondly was it took more time to put on and take off. If I saw this in a store I definately would not purchase it. I won't return it but doubt I will be using it.

Cute, but...
Like a previous reviewer, I am also having a difficult time getting the fastener out of the hole in the belt. It has a little knob on the end to hold it in place, which is great, but I have been worried that I would never get it off. I have also been afraid I would break a nail trying to pry it open. I was in a rush yesterday to change out of business attire and into more comfortable clothing to catch a plane home, and was struck with panic I would never get it off in time with business associates waiting. The colored face is synthetic and the back is leather. I too think that it should loosen up in time. It is pretty and versatile--great in navy.

Optimistic
I absolutely love this little belt and purchased 2 of them, however I am having a very difficult time getting them off!!! The little pin doesnt seem to want to come through the hole and I am curious to know if anyone else has the same problem? I will not be returning them in the hope that they will loosen up a bit . I am eternally optimistic!!!
