I bought cherry and nutmeg and love the colors. The fit does not work well as huge gaps under arms through bust area. Have only washed once or twice and the fabric looks awful as pilling ruins it. Disappointed in the fit and quality of fabric.

I bought two of these tops to go with the matching GORGEOUS jackets. Like the jackets, the colors are gorgeous as is the material. The workmanship is superb. My con is the fit. With no stretch in the fabric for basically a very sophisticated tee, I had to go up a size due to the chest measurement. That resulted in a tad too much for the chest (fine)but made the neck fit and shoulders not at all good...quite a bit too large really. They will be hidden by the jackets so that is fine, but I wouldn't be able to wear with anything else of course.
My jackets are wonderful in the medium but that size tank (if the chart is correct) would have been tight, but the large is just "too much bigger" all over.
Lovely set together though!

Bought this in the burnt orange color and thought it would be nice under a jacket. The fit is off and it just hangs on the body. The armholes are too big and show a gap. It did not meet up to the expectations that I normally have with Louis's items.

I chose the cherry in this top, and it is a rich shade that tips a bit more toward the wine than red -- which I prefer. The armholes are not too large (always a concern with sleeveless tops), and my usual size, large, is a wonderfully comfortable fit. Bought this to go under suit jackets or fashionable sweaters. It will surely add a touch of elegance. I believe another of these tops is beckoning me. The fabric is so rich-looking. You can count on Louis to give you more bang for your buck. His creations make me feel both fashionable and comfortable in my wardrobe.

I received this top today in both the Cherry Red & Nutmeg. First of all, I was disappointed in the Cherry Red color which to me is more of a burgundy. I thought it would be more of a bright red. Also, I ordered a Size Large which is normally what I wear & the arm holes were way too big. Unfortunately, they have to be returned.

If you could touch this fabric, you would think it was silk, but the label says other wise. The saturated vivid colour and the design of this top are perfect additions to my fall wardrobe. Takes a dark top and bottom to a new level. Louis again on trend for fall must haves for 2013. Though I am one who would prefer a deeper V, the neckline is a happy medium. The fabric has no stretch so consideration must be given in your choice of size. I chose correctly with the upper range in my size. I am not adverse to simple nick and tuck alterations to make garments fit my not one size fits all figure type.
Looking forward to more clothing from Louis in this fabric.

I just adore the very designer textured look of a silk cami under a cashmere cardigan and that's just what I got with this wonderful new piece from Linea. As others have mentioned, check the measurements carefully, especially the bust. I ordered size small and the fit is good, but there's not a lot of room to spare. This fall I will wear these tops (I bought cherry and nutmeg) with a light sweater and when winter they will be cherry shots of color under all my heavy cardigans and Linea jackets. Hopefully we will get these back in more basic colors like black, ivory, navy!

And yes. It looks, feels, and takes dye just like silk. And of course is much easier to care for. I bought the Cherry in my usual Medium and the fit is plenty ample for a fabric that doesn't stretch but is not too big at all. The Cherry color is gorgeous and will get lots of use under navy, black, and gray. But I also love it with the Boysenberry pants in the same fabric, which I will wear with my Ivory peplum TSV jacket for those transitional days. Now how about blouses for winter in those vivid tones that this fabric takes so well?
