This dress is beautiful and very well priced. Got it for my cruise on the Queen Elizabeth where dressing is required - perfect for semi-formal nights. When cruising Cunard, I bring my expensive designer gowns and my elegant but extremely affordable Louis designs and people think all my clothes were very expensive. I started wearing Louis' designs shortly after graduating from law school in 79 and was thrilled when he came to QVC. I hope you never retire Louis!

Who Needs St.John
I just received this lovely black sequined Louis v-neck dress and am in complete agreement with all the other reviewers. I ordered a 1X and felt very trim even without my Spanx, but knowing I'd be wearing control garments will only enhance my figure. This is a classic. I just wish Louis had brought this to the Q a few years ago when I spent a small fortune on St. John's dress for my sister's wedding. This would have been the perfect dress. As many others have said, we NEED MORE COLORS, Louis. This dress is a beauty

Stunning
Ordered this dress in purple for a wedding. It is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the event. I thought it would be too much sparkle but it is perfectly subtle.

What a lucky find!
Just received this dress today in black. Immediately tried it on and I could not be more pleased. It's comfortable & just needs to be shortened a bit but otherwise, a perfect fit. In fact, if it were still available in violet in my size (med), I would purchase that as well. I would love to see this come back in the fall with 3/4 sleeves to eliminate the need for a jacket and a rounded neckline would be nice too. Would also love this dress in a deep burgundy wine color. Keep em coming Louis & I'll keep buying.

Linea forever!
I have both colors! Need I say more. I am large and got the violet first. Then went back for the black and I am so glad I did. The violet is simply beautiful and so is the black. I did hem it about an inch and I am 5' 5"' and bought the large..

Fantastic Dress
Got the purple and just love it. Would recommend lying it flat to store as putting it on a hanger might possibly stretch it in the length. The dress fits perfect in every way...

Sexy, Sophisticated, Subtle, Sparkler!!
Don't let the description scare you. The sequins don't scream at you. This is sequins done right. I bought this in black because a girl just needs one more LBD!. Well this one is unique & special. I've worn it once & will be wearing it for New Year's. It's almost a shame to be "dressed up" and be so comfortable. The lightweight mesh lining helps the dress retain it's shape. I am a size S & typically a size 8. The size small fit perfectly with room to dance & move. I wore it to a business holiday function with a black crepe jacket & received tons of compliments. Do yourself a favor, try this dress, you'll feel like you have your PJ's on!!

Perfect!!!
I bought this dress for an evening wedding. It's very comfortable, not at all heavy as some sequined dresses can be. I was on a waitlist and was very surprised and happy when I received the dress 2 weeks later. The wedding hasn't happened yet but I'm sure I'll get many compliments - this dress is worth the wait (if you have to)!

Absolutely Gorgeous!
This dress is beautiful! I got the purple and am thrilled with it. The fabric is great- not too many sequins but just enough to really give it a punch. And the cut! Louis, you did an amazing job! It hugs where it should and skims over the rest. I would second the poster who said the dress looks like it cost $$$$$.

This dress is nothing less than awesome. Would love it in red, blue and green. In fact, would buy it in every color offered. Silver and gold would also be fabulous. Thanks Louis. You hit a home run with this one

A quiet glimmer, a subtle sexiness, a sensuous sophistication, an elegant air of easy glam - that is what this dress conveys.
I ordered both colors just from a sneak peak of the black on Jackie before it was presented on air. So glad I did. I am keeping both as they both have such different personalities.
The sparkle is subtle and expensive looking - so many sequin dresses, tanks, etc. just look cheap or childish even if they are costly. Of couse, that would never be the case with the discerning and elegant Mr. del Olio.
I have finally found my perfect LBD (and LVD). I bought both these dresses with two specific holiday parties in mind and I know I will shimmer and shine with confidence wearing them. But I will wear these well after the holidays. Perfect.
I ordered the L since I have lost weight - 25 lbs - and plan on losing more. I will have the dresses altered when I drop more weight as they are well worth it.

I love this dress!
I have many of LDO pieces and love wearing them all-but this dress is my new favorite! Fabulous fit, color and length-the black is just perfect. I am going on a holiday cruise and needed a nice dress for new years-this one will be great! Now I need to get the ruffle jacket that Jac was wearing!
