I ordered the moss color, it is so beautiful, not too bold, not too mute, and the black cap sleeves are a perfect offset. I read the other reviews and decided to size down, I'm glad I did because it was a perfect. I usually wear a 1x and sized down to an XL. The fabric is very nice and drapes over my body.
Rated 4 out of 5 by CramerQ great dress, but
This dress has everything going for it except for the print. The little cap sleeve-perfect, the material-perfect, the gathers-perfect, but the print is just off. It's matronly looking. Louis pls do this dress in a solid or a dif tropical print. Theres just something about this print that doesnt work.

Louis's dresses are by far the best on the Q in my opinion, and this one is no exception. I ordered this in olive in PL and regular large. The petite works because I no longer wear heels. I'm 5'6". I was planning on wearing it to my class reunion, but the empire waist and the elastic in the back just don't work for my figure type. If your stomach protrudes it's not flattering with the pleats in the front.

I wore this dress today and it is my new favorite dress! I love the fabric and the cut is so flattering on my plus sized figure. It is so comfortable and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase.

This fabric is the perfect weight for a perfect drape. I bought the midi dress A263354 in all three colors and got this one in both olive and azure. The higher waist is very flattering on both dresses—the cut is a winner. Like the cap sleeve on this one, although I'll probably wear it with Louis' perfect new crop sweater, A265614.

First off thanks for going back to the letter size which made this very easy to order in xl although I think I could have gotten away with a large but the xl isn't so roomy that I have to exchange. I usually order the regular length but sometimes they run too long on me at 5"5 needless to say the petite is the perfect length and stops right at the bottom of my ankles. The moss color is beautiful and plays nicely with the black and white; the pattern itself is beautiful the fit was made for me I am busty and curvy so the maxi is so flattering, the material is lightweight and comfortable easy care easy wear and just flows. Love the pockets yes and the cap sleeves. Very tropical indeed I tried it on with my straw hat!

I was expecting more body in the fabrication. I found the fabric scratchy and thin. I purchased the moss P XXS. Fit, length and style of the dress was a win. I am 5'3", 110 lbs, 34C, 35 hip, long legged My purchase had a strong odor of vinegar? A miss for me.

My compatriot reviewer Jazzmom and I are doing the happy dance together. Thanks to her for all the helpful hints, I'll add a few of my own, too. Ordered the moss green in my usual PXS size, whenever it's available. The bottom length skims the tops of my toes in front and in back sits aprox. 1/2" from the floor to my heels when standing barefoot, this length allows me to wear the dress with flip-flops. The higher waist seaming is flattering and comfortable, the seam in this instance falls 2 3/4" below the band of my bra and 2 1/2" above my naval, not on my true waist, which is a good thing as it fools others eyes to give the look of a taller and leaner you. The "click here" chart numbers for my bust measurement was a little concerning as it was an inch smaller than my own, however the fit is perfect, presumably because of the spandex content and the fact that the fabric is a knit. Speaking of knits, I did compare some of my LDO printed poly tops that so many of us have and believe the dress fabric to be a gauge or two heavier, in other words, thicker but still right for the summer. None of those upper-front little side arm pillows to contend with either, don't you just hate that? To the lady who commented on the dark base of the fabric print, on a recent presentation, Stan Herman commented that dark base prints are in the fashion forecast in a big way. Also, Susan Graver gave a great tip for stretching your wardrobe by using a cardigan sweater as a shrug by taking the opened, unbuttoned sweater, bring it around behind your back at the bottom, then button the very bottom button. Voila! You will have instantly transformed your cardigan, you may need to tuck the top front corners under for a finished appearance. I did this with an elbow length sleeved sweater from LDO in black, lots of us have this item, A221793 Linea by Louis Dell'Olio Cardigan with Embroidered Lace Detail, it looked fabulous with this Maxi Dress. This little slight of hand can be performed with other cardies, too. For your reference: I'm 5'2 3/4", 117 lbs, HG )( figure, 35/28/38, ordered PXS. A big hug and thank you to Louis.
