I've eyed this coat for months, but didn't purchase because of living in a warm climate most of the year, and not understanding that the sleeves can be turned back to make a cuff for shorter arms. I ordered the Stone in my regular Linea top size for a perfect fit. The quality of the coat is excellent, and it is extremely light weight and perfect for travel when weight and versatility are crucial factors. I have no problem with the button loops, and find the coat works equally well without fastening and just tying the belt for closure.

This is a fabulous beautiful coat of extreme quality. My issue is the buttons and
elastic closures. I had a hard time getting them undone to try the coat on for the
first time. If it was 1/2 the price maybe I could pay to have buttonholes put in.
The size seems roomy to generous. I am a 14 and it fit with room for a sweater or
suit jacket underneath. Oh darn it is classy....

The coat is beautiful, but getting the buttons (loops and buttons) closed was very difficult, and the sizes run larger.

This is really a beautifully made coat. The fur is so soft - it feels like one of those cuddly bears toddlers like to cuddle up with.
The problem is - I ordered the Stone color, believing it would look like like the picture shown on QVC's website. But it is darker and more of a mocha/mauve/brownish. I can't adequately describe it, but it is not my taste. Since I love the coat so much, I'm exchanging it for the black.
I do wish designers would try and be more specific about colors. When I think of stone, I think of the color that designers use for a khaki color of slacks.
The only flaw in this coat is the top button. It is hard to close. If one is in a hurry and the wind is whipping, it would be difficult to deal with it.

I was hoping to love this reversible coat. However, the shoulders were much too narrow for my build, the sleeves were somewhat tight and the buttons were nearly impossible to hook with the elastic. Sorry, I had to return this.
Rated 5 out of 5 by BayAreaGal I gasped when I first touched this...
Just wanted a decent coat for the moderately cold winter days in the SF Bay Area. When I got this stone/black coat home, and unpacked it, I gasped at the feel of the fur. It is so finely made. Having worn real fur coats in Scandinavian winters, this coat rivals those without the weight or bulk. I agree that you need to size up if you intend to wear bulking clothes, otherwise, it's just fine. This is lovely enough to wear to the office, to meetings, to dinner parties...or stone side out, just running errands on a cool day. LOVE Louis Dell'Olio's style, fabrication, and attention to making women look great. His clothes are classics and so well made they will last a long time. Thank you!!!
Rated 3 out of 5 by many_hosta Beautiful, well-made, but not for me
With sadness, I am donating this beautiful coat after one season. It is very stylish and well made of quality materials throughout. The fit is on the smaller side of a QVC letter range size, though the sleeves with faux fur inside are a bit tight worn over layers. I am tall with long limbs. I rarely wear the coat for two reasons: first, the sleeves are barely wrist length on me and creep up which drives me nuts in our cold climate, second, the button loops did not relax and that makes the coat hard to put on and take off. It's so nice otherwise, I am sad it had these flaws.

Love the style but the sizing was off. I wear a xl or 1x. I sized up & did the 1x to be safe. The coat fit but the shoulder width & upper arms to tight. I'm not sure if I want to chance w a bigger size. I'm tired of shipping back & forth.
