Rated 5 out of 5 by TooGoodToBeTrue Beautiful design - definitely worth it!
This really is a beautiful and flattering design. The A-line cut with all of the great detail is very slimming. It is a bit heavier than a spring jacket and a good choice for the fall in the Northeast. I ordered my regular Linea size and it fits fine. However, if you plan to layer this with a bulky sweater, you may want to go up one size. Excellent value for the money.

Should have paid more attention to the presentation.. This is a woven coat, very light weight ... not for NE Winters. Otherwise, lovely.

I LOVE THIS COAT!!! The red color is perfection as are the gold hammered buttons and bib and seaming detail. The buttons give the coat a military vibe and are not garish in the least in my opinion. I ordered the same size as the trench and found it fits similarly. For me, in the size 8 in both coats, the shoulders and sleeves look like they were tailored for me. I am 5'6", 128 lbs, not very curvy. The body has room for a heavier sweater, but still hangs nicely with something lighter weight underneath.
I held the trench coat in one hand and the red coat in the other---the fabric is the same, but the belt, double breasted style, buckles, buttons, and epaulets give the trench coat a bit more weight overall.
I plan to wear the coat buttoned with the top button open. It is ladylike and a head turner---and what a buy!!! Thanks Louis---another home run.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Randfan Beautiful, but tighter in the chest area
I ordered a red 14 and 2 in white 14 and 16. I have a 46 inch measurement in the chest, and 38-40 DDD or G bra. I'm about 5'1". I have many of the LInea jackets, and all were either 14 or 16, no problem. The red 14 was way too tight as was the white. The 16 white fit, but is a little snug, especially across the chest area. I feel this coat doesn't have the wiggle room of other jackets from Linea, so if you have a larger chest, I would go up a size from what you usually order in this line. I know the sizing chart shows I should order the 18, but I always found the 14 or 16 fit fine. My only complaint about this beautiful coat is there is an area on the white up below the top button which gaps open and I can't get it to stay down. If you look at the video and the white coat, you can see the coat gaps open on the model. Mine gaps even more. I love this coat so much, I may keep it and wear it open, or take it to a seamstress and see if something can be done about the gap. Also, I think the buttons will have to be tightened, they seem a little loose and may come of fairly early. I think an 18 would be too large in the shoulders. This coat is so pretty, I may just keep the 16 white. One star off for the gap and the buttons. The Linea line has the most gorgeous clothes, and all seem very well made.

I thought this coat was the same material as the trench coat, which is a substantial weight and can be worn in winter. Because of the weight I would wear it on a mild Spring or Fall day only.
In my opinion I consider this a lightweight jacket, the length being that of a long blazer. I'm 5'7", I don't consider it coat length.
The buttons are extremely shiny (I would have preferred a more matte hammered finish). The button stitching is loose- even for a shank button- and would need to be reinforced.
I found the coat a bit tight, not nearly as roomy as the trench or some of the other coats/jackets.
For all these reasons I have returned it.
It's nice, it just doesn't fit my needs.

This coat is so stylish. Even looked great on my plus size (20). Best thing that I have purchased in quite awhile. Thank you Louis!

I ordered red in 1x. True to size and very flattering. The garment's lines accentuate an hourglass shape. Price is great. I am waiting to receive this coat in black.
Rated 3 out of 5 by JaneyD Beautifully made but not for me
As a pear, I was happy to find a coat that truly fit me. And this is beautifully made. What makes this a return for me is the shoulders. I didn't notice the shoulder pads in the video. They're built into the coat and can't be removed. On my small shoulders, they stood out and not in a flattering way--they were simply too large/too wide for my small frame. I also found the super-shiny buttons distracting. I'll look for future pieces from Linea that don't include these buttons. Otherwise, this is a lovely, lightweight coat that I think most women will love.
