PERFECT SHIRT/JACKET!
Purchased this Shirt/Jacket in all 3 colours - Love it! The woven fabric is quite unique. I did size up one size - and am glad I did - prefer to wear it as a Jacket with a tee or tank underneath. Very versatile - can wear with my Linea pleated skirts, dress pants - or just my jeans.

Casual Chic!

Wonderful Textured Jacquard
This shirt/jacket has dimension and is not a flat, printed fabric. I bought it in Putty after Louis said that is works well with his herringbone suit in Stone from early last Fall. If you have that suit, this is a true designer combo! I bought it in my usual Medium, which gives me plenty of room to wear it over a black Whisper Knit turtleneck, the crinkle georgette safari blouse, or over a tank. It also works beautifully with the gray ponte knit drawstring pants and V-neck body suit from last Fall. Also with the taupe boho and black leather boots. This will be a three season top for me.

Another Winner!
I absolutely LOVE this shirt! I wanted something versatile for an upcoming trip and after agonizing over which color (!!!!) I finally decided on the putty in an XL - I sized up since I will wear it over a tank or turtleneck or the matching dress I am now going to have to buy!
A little heavier fabric which is perfect as a shirt jacket and it drapes beautifully. Length is just right, I only have to turn the cuffs halfway back for the perfect long sleeve length on me, good fit in the shoulders, I am in love with it! Will also work with black skirts and heels or boots at work.
Louis, I can't tell you how nice it is to have all these machine or hand wash/hang dry pieces. So nice to rinse out in the hotel room sink or only tie up your host's washing machine for one load and then hang them up so they can go again the next day. I find I pack less and less (yet buy more and more when available!) of your pieces when I travel because of the ease and versatility. Just what I am looking for!

I ADORE this Top!!!
As the other reviews have said, this shirt is fantastic. It is very soft fabric, and just the right weight for spring. I ordered the tarragon and I love the color. It is fitted, so my usual QVC size of 1X fits like a blouse and not a tunic. I am going to order both the other colors and try sizing up to make it more like a tunic.

Ignore the Picture!
If you are considering this jacket/top, please do not go by the picture that accompanies the item on the Q website. It looks so dowdy in the picture which it is not at all in reality. It is a lovely garment in a knit fabric that can be worn as a lightweight jacket or as a stand alone top. I purchased it in the putty color which is a soft grayish beige. Not to worry if you are averse to animal prints. Even though it is called "animal jacquard," it is a very subtle texture and print that doesn't scream cheeta or snake or whatever animal it is supposed to be. I like it so much I am thinking about going back for the purple version.

Great top , goes with matching dress too!
Fabulous top....another winning piece from LD!! Fabric is a little heavier and has a nice amount of stretch in it for comfort. Top can go over many things and worn open or buttoned with tie belt. Beautiful! Got it in all 3 colors!

Amazing Textured Jacquard
This fabric is quite amazing and has a soft textured hand woven into the jacquard. You can feel the texture; it really is beautiful. The weight is lighter than I expected which makes it perfect for wearing either as a shirt or a jacket, which is perfect for me. I read the print as more of an abstract. I ordered my regular Linea size and the shirt is perfect when buttoned. The fabric does not wrinkle and launders well. All the Linea details are perfectly executed. I ordered the Putty, not my usual color, and the Purple. If Louis weren't offering so many wonderful new items, I would probably order the Tarragon as well.

A real classic
I ordered the putty and was so happy with the color style and fit I then ordered the purple. I do not care for epaulets, but these are so well tailored they work well with the look and are in no way obvious. The colors are also subtle to the point that the purple can be considered neutral.
So lovely. I must now exercise restraint and not order the green
I am I true Linea devotee. I tried to branch out to Bob Mackie but had to return them.

Sophisticated casual
The purple paired with jeans or slacks is so casual perfect. Comfy fabric but tailored style. I had a jacket & leggings set in the 80s in the same color/print. So happy to get them in a new style in 2013!

Wow
This. Is fabulous. Sizing is fitted, I got a medium, my usual size,and it fits great, if I were going to wear it closed, I might go for a large. The fabric is soft thicker knit. No wrinkles, perfect for traveling. I got the purple and the putty. Lovr the colors. Thanks Louie, you didn't again.
