Had for Years & Still Beautiful Easy to Use !
I don't quite understand the people that are compiling about the Lid ~ I find that "The Lid" Is the Best Part of this Cookie Jar ~ We keep packets of Stevia in there, but If I did want to put Flour Or Cookies this would be the BEST Jar for them, b/c the Lid Seal's the Jar and NO AIR GETS IN ~ TO DESTROY, Whatever you may put in there.. I Love Love Love this Jar and the entire collection of my Butterfly Meadows, Plate's, Bowls, Serving Platter.. All are just Awesome... Especially down here in Florida.. Love Having Brunch on My Lani... And the Butterfly Meadow collection make everything fit together beautifully !!

Pretty But Defective Coating
I hesitated buying this because of the reviews stating that the texture on the lid was rough compared to the body of the jar. I thought that maybe there were only a few in that condition so I took a chance and ordered it. Sorry to say that the lid on my jar also has a rough texture. The body of the jar is smooth to the touch but, there is something in the glaze. Looks granular or like tiny air bubbles. I'm not sure what it is but there is something wrong with the glazing process. Lenox should stop selling these until they fix the problem. I am really tired of sending items back to QVC. Although QVC isn't responsible for the imperfection of this product, I send too many things back that are damaged or items that do not work as demonstrated. Very disappointed in the quality of this Lenox item.

Pretty but finish on lid was odd
I bought this for my mom. The jar is beautiful but the lid has a rough texture and is not smooth like the body of the jar. Not sure if it is supposed to be like it or not. I will be contacting Lenox.

Not as expected
I ordered the Butterfly Meadow Sentiment Cookie Jar a week and a half ago. I had wanted to order it for some time, but it had been on back order. I received it today. I was somewhat disappointed, as I expected so much more. There were tiny granules within the material of the lid, as well as the canister. So, the material was not smooth as the other Butterfly Meadow pieces. I wanted it to blend with the 18piece Butterfly Meadow dinnerware set that I have ( which is excellent,
by the way). Regretfully, I'll have to return the
cookie jar.
