Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my laptop. Been using for 3 months now, have really appreciated the fan control within the obligatory 'Lenovo nerve sense' bloatware. Not that it needs it, just comfortably is a laptop that will handle peak of the day heat levels.. across Australia. Be that smidge better if it had Thunderbolt enabled for the USB-C port, but not worth taking off the star, as nothing at this price point boasts any differently.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Legion Y520 Dud!! Bought my Legion Y520 off there website. Nov 16th 2017 and returned it before the warranty was up. Reason all of a sudden had a Orangish Tint to it, almost a very light Pinkish color. Restarted a couple of times and wouldnt go away. Frustrated I turned it off and put it away. Next day turned it on and the tinted screen was gone and Screen looked normal?? Dealt with this for about 2 weeks had enough, and returned it. I'm currently waiting for Lenova to give me an Exchange or Credit. I believe I just got a Dud of a Laptop, still believe in their products. Will see what happens in the next Week. The Y520 performance is quite and fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BANG! for your buck Overall the laptop is great! I went with the 256GB SSD and 2TB SATA hard drive, it has been more than sufficient for my needs. I'm not much of a gamer, but the games I have played had no issues. As of now, the only thing I don't like about the laptop is the one that is standard throughout all of the Lenovo laptops, and that is placement of the mouse pad. A decent wireless mouse will fix that issue, but using the edge of the laptop near the mouse pad can cause some slight irritation. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good all-around The laptop looks very sleek, and performs well according to its specs. As far as gaming goes, don't expect to be playing many games at 60 FPS nowadays, simply because its graphics card isn't great. Still, it's portable and performs almost everything else at decent speeds. The SSD drive it has installed is also a nice plus. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value I have had this about a month and am quite satisfied. I did some upgrades myself such as adding an SSD instead of the HDD and adding 8GB memory to the existing 8 GB. The PC works fast, the boot time is unbelievably fast The only thing that I wish was different is the keyboard. The keyboard has no backlight and even when I use the PC in a lighted roo, I have trouble with the red letter/numbers on black keys. (and I'm only 35) I think thats not a great design choice but at this price I am not complaining [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value! I love the design and feel of this machine! The SSD makes for super-quick boot times, and the 4GB graphics card lends plenty muscle to the game performance. A good buy at the price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool operator, instantaneous boot: (2 - 3 seconds) I am impressed with the unbelievably fast boot time - This laptop boots up in 2 to 3 seconds. The laptop also remains cool while operating and the battery has a formidable life of at least 4 hours. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
