Love having a "piece" of the Titanic!
After reading some of the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with this perfume. I wanted to try it despite the reviews because I am interested in Titanic history. The perfume has a light, vintage scent. It is definitely different than the perfumes I would normally choose, but the scent is pleasant. It isn't a super long-lasting, overpowering scent but does last most of the day. I applied in the morning and my husband could still lightly smell it in the evening.

Lovely Fragrance
Its a lovely light fragrance, with a vintage smell. I guess thats the idea, right? I love the bottle, and the fact that it came from fragrance samples (duplicated of course) from the Titanic.

Lovely Fragrance
I don't understand the reviews about the fragrance not lasting more than 45 minutes. Ladies, if your perfume arrives down the hall before you do, you have on too much or it's too strong. I've had dozens of compliments on this while wearing it hours after I put it on. It has a not too sweet but classic fragrance I just love. I hope QVC will continue to carry it!

Story printed on the box makes this more special
Gift box and bottle are BEAUTIFUL.
Cannot comment on scent but am told it is appropriate and not florally

Wanted to like it but.....
Sent this back as fragance was almost non-existent, did not last either. At least I got to try it as I wanted a gift from the past.

Unusual, unique
I ordered this and waited as it was a down the road send. I am not an old lady, nor am I the run of the mill type gal. This scent is unique, long lasting and one that you won't smell every corner you turn. I have ordered other colognes and can say there is an" Amazing" line that doesn't stay long enough to leave the restroom. No amount of layering keeps those scents lasting for more than a 1/2 hour. I am very happy with this scent, and it lasts on me quite nicely. I work with men and they have said it is quite nice. Enough said.
If you are looking for unique, unusual and not your everyday scent then try this I am very very happy,

Elegant and pretty, without being frilly
Of course I bought the story, was skeptical -- but am thrilled with this fragrance. On me it's beautiful, delicately spiced roses without being sugary, and very long-lasting. I have trouble finding perfumes compatible with my chemistry - most dry down and disappear, or worse, leave lingering sniffs of vanilla, talc, cigars or beer. Oh dear. I think the chemists have done a fine job replicating a bygone more elegant era, in fact this fragrance reminds me of the Joy perfume my Mom rationed so religiously -- she only spritzed it on special occasions so when I was old enough to think I could buy her some, I almost passed out from the shock of the exorbitant price (which I had no prayer of affording). My Mom would've loved this perfume, and, miracle of miracles, it smells beautiful on me. Imagine! I bought a profound story, am movingly reminded of another. What a wonderful tribute! Thank you.

Doesn't Last
Loved the Scent but it doesn't last long enough for anyone else to enjoy it. Maybe 45 minutes. It takes me longer than that to get to work. Sorry but for 80.00 it should last much longer. Return

FADES QUICKLY!!!
This is a beautiful fragrance. Unfortunately, it should not be labeled as "parfum," nor priced as such. I have purchased body mist fragrances at a fraction of the cost that last longer than this. It's too bad. The fragrance is lovely, but it's gone in less than an hour. I even sprayed on fabric (like my scarf or blouse) to see if it would have more staying power, no luck. It even fades away quickly when sprayed on fabric. I would keep it if it were less expensive, but this costs WAY TOO MUCH MONEY to fade away so fast.

Not what I was expecting
I'm not all impressed with this Perfume, it's just your everyday run of the mill scent. Cannot really justify the price, although I love the story behind it. The bottle looks almost identical to the bottle of: 24 Faubourg which is the perfume Lady Diana wore in her wedding day. I'll think about it for a couple of days but I think i'll be returning this.

Soft Clean Fragance
I received this lovely fragrance today and have sprayed it on quite a few times and the more I do the better I like it....leaves a very clean lingering scent. Perfume maker Adolphe Saalfeld would be pleased to know that his Legacy lives on, reminding all who are lucky enough to have ordered it, that life is precious and can be taken away quite unexpectedly. I love the packaging also, the majestic scrolled design throughout the Titanic ship itself is displayed on the thick glass eau de parfum bottle.....all in all, a delightful treasure from the sea and the distant past.

Not worth the 3 month wait
I predict this product will not be on the shelves long at this price! I will keep it for the price I spent, but I see it on my shelf for a long time. Very disapointed in the scent.
