Do not hesitate any longer! This piece is worth every penny. Every time I reach for this Dutch Oven I thank QVC for Easy Pay. I've only purchased this last month and have used it two or three times a week. I use this in place of so many other dishes and pans: skillets, casserole dishes, slow cooker, deep fryer, steamer, bread pan. It browns beautifully and so evenly it's remarkable. The weight is comparable to lifting out the food processor or mixer and setting on the counter to use. Nothing sticks to this inside or outside and just a simple soak for a few minutes and browned bits of food simply wipe off with a sponge. Everything cooks so perfectly in this Dutch Oven. It's just wonderful.

My first Le Creuset purchase and I'm hooked. I made white beans in it last week and the bacon and sausage fond that I was able to achieve with it prior to sauteeing my trinity and adding my beans was wonderful. It's a one-pot-wonder, truly. This week it has held a leek soup which showcased its heat retention properties beautifully. No warming needed when you come back to the pot for seconds or have a late-comer to dinner! Which brings me to its size, which has been perfect for my family of four who sometimes comes back for another serving in addition to enjoying leftovers and for us, there was plenty of room for all of that.
As for aesthetics, its cherry color is quite pretty and although I believe there is slightly less gradiation in this particular color than some of the others, the gentle shading allows for it to match the majority of my other red kitchenware. Also, the enameling is done well, appears to have no defects and looks to be long-lasting.
The only caution I would give is that if you have dexterity issues, you will need to carefully consider the weight of this pot. It has some serious heft and although it wipes clean very easily, lifting it to and from the sink may be difficult for some. The same may be true depending on where you decide to store it. Personally, it is so attractive and useful, it stays on my stove so I don't have to lift it out of a storage space. But if I did store it out of the way yet planned to use it often, I would suggest trying to find a spot where you aren't bending down to get it out. When needed, mine goes into our storage closet at waist level.
Overall, it's an excellent purchase and on easy pay, makes the dream of owning one of these beauties much more attainable to the average home cook who enjoys quality products. Bon appetit!

Le Creuset is simply the best quality available, and I absolutely LOVE mine!!! It's super easy to clean, and cooking results are just what you'd expect. My only caution is that it's really heavy--maybe too heavy for some.

I found that I needed a larger Dutch Oven and knew there was only one choice. La Creuset is the ONE. After you buy one you are theirs for life. It is like an old friend tried and true.

This is the best kitchen item I have ever bought. It is a one pot wonder and so much fun to cook with. It is crazy expensive, so had to do easy pay to break down the overall cost. For a family of four, with two of them teenagers, the 5 1/2 quart is perfect. You may want to go to the next size up if you have a bigger family.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kewins I use this pot for everything!
I already owned a red Le Creuset dutch oven, but always wanted the white one because I collect white plates and all of my other Le Creuset items are white. I decided to give my sister-in-law my red one, and purchased the white one on QVC. It's beautiful! While Le Creuset items aren't cheap, they last an absolute lifetime. I took such good care of the red pot, it's like giving a brand new one to a family member. I recommend using their cleanser, or Bar Keepers Friend to keep your dutch oven clean and new looking. I use my dutch oven for just about everything! Le Creuset is definitely an investment, but well worth the addition to your kitchen and they're so beautiful you will want to keep it out!

If you're on the fence because of the price be assured that it is worth every penny. I purchased mine 30 years ago ( I have 5 of them) and they all still look like new. Will hand them down to my daughters someday.

I ordered this pot in the flame color and was blown away. It is absolutely beautiful. After being on the fence for several years, I decided to take the plunge and am so glad I did. It performs just as well as the on-air demonstrations, and clean up is a breeze .Everything cooks precisely and evenly. Although It takes a few minutes to come up to temperature, once it does , food is cooked perfectly. I have fried in it and braised in with wonderful results. I am so thankful for easy pay making it affordable. I am now a believer in this line of cookware, and eagerly look forward to expanding my collection.
