I bought this for my wife for Christmas. I made Jimmy Dean suasges on it for Christmas breakfast. Works great and looks real nice. She was happy so I'm happy. Also tried Berks Hot Dogs on it, they got just as good as making them out on the grill. Shipped in plenty of time. Very pleased.

Love this pan for grilling anything inside! The cast iron makes your food taste so good,
And this pan cleans up so easily . Good investment in cookware, good buy!

This is a high quality grill pan. The actual cooking surface is just over 8". I have used this pan for grilled chicken cutlets which I coat lightly with olive oil. If you're having difficulty cleaning, I recommend the following. After removing the grilled cutlets, I deglaze with a little white wine and a squeeze of fresh lemon, reduce for a few minutes, gently scraping with a silicone spatula, and then add a little butter. Makes a great simple sauce and completely cleans up the pan. Finish cleaning with a sponge and dish detergent. This has an enamel-coated interior so you can wash after using, unlike uncoated cast iron. The pan has been used several times and still looks brand new.

Terrible buy, grill pan I bought from Aldi for a 5th of the price was a better purchase. If I would kept the box this would be a return.

This was my first purchase of Le Creuset. I hear David raving about it on air and after considering purchasing it for some time, I purchased it and was so anxious to try it out when it arrived. It was supposed to be non-stick, but it is not. The food stuck in it horribly. The second complaint is that the grill part is so hard to clean. I hand-washed it several times, but each time it didn't look clean. I then put it in the dishwasher and it still came out looking like it needed to be washed. My husband used it the second time it was used and complained the whole time and said to that he did not like this pan at all. We tried it one more time cooking two small boneless ribeye steaks. We kept the burner turned about medium thinking we may have had it too high the first times, but the same thing happened. The steaks stuck to the grill ribs. I had even tried wiping it with a little oil before cooking this time and it made no difference. I am so disappointed because I love the looks of the Le Creuset cookware and planned on adding more pieces to this pan, but now I am turned off with Le Creuset and will stick to other cookware that works better. At the price of the Le Creuset cookware, it should function much better.

Full disclosure, I am a Le Creuset afficionado and own several pieces.
This is my second grill pan from Le Creuset and it does what it's supposed to do. Closest to it and less expensive is the cast iron from Lodge, but if you want the brand name, this is the way to go.
What makes this different from the All-Clad, that I also own, are the depth of the ridges; they keep the juices and fat away from the food so that you truly get a wonderful sear. The pan heats up very quickly and holds the heat, so that if you want that rare steak, you won't have to wait long. In addition, I use mine for other meats, poultry, vegetables and fish, but be careful with the latter because this grill pan does get hot!
Clean up, I soak mine in hot water, and yes, I use soap, and a "Scrub Daddy." Le Creuset is heavy; you can lift it with one arm but unlike my old grill pan, this one has the extra handle. Because of its weight, it may not be for everyone. However, I put this pan and all of Le Creuset in the category of 'you get what you pay for.' One of those pans you'll use and use if you enjoy grilled foods.
Rated 3 out of 5 by mrr Cooks great, but can be challenging to clean
This was my first Le Creuset purchase. I knew it was cast iron, but I was surprised at how heavy this not-really-large pan is. This line of cookware gets so much hype that I thought it must be truly fabulous in some way other cookware is not. It does a great job grilling meat, but what a real bear to clean. I scrub and scrub and wind up leaving the pan soaking for hours to get the cooked on food off the raised surfaces and between them. I thought it would be so much easier to clean than it is. I did want to get one of the Dutch ovens from this line, but now I'm having second thoughts. I have other pans that cook as well as this pan and clean up a lot easier. I'm glad I bought this pan first instead of spending hundreds more on one of the other pans only to question whether it is worth the extra cost. Maybe not.

I luv cooking with this pan, just the right size for me, great for burgers, steaks, chicken, cooks well and clean up easy. Not as heavy as it looks. LeCreuset you can't go wrong, great grill marks if you can't get out to grill. Live in an apartment no grills allowed so this is the next best thing...Thank You Qvc for easy pay & finally a LeCreuset Pan!!!!
