Description
The kitchen is waiting. This covered rectangular dish is well-suited for family-sized portions of side dishes like oven-roasted potatoes, while still conveniently sized for leftover storage. With its secure lid, the stoneware casserole is also the perfect choice for transporting dishes to parties, potlucks, and picnics. Not only does the stoneware lid provide an effective moisture and heat lock for the dish, but it prevents spills and protects contents until they are ready to serve. Rated 5 out of 5 by Not a reproduction as previously reviewed Le Creuset is not manufactured in Le Creuset France as the previous reviewer mentioned. It is manufactured in Fresnoy-le-Grand, France, and is a high-quality enameled cast iron product. I have most of the items purchased in the early 60's, and they are still in great shape and will be passed on to future generations. The newer stone products that Le Creuset is now selling are indeed manufactured in China and Thailand, but they are not inferior quality and certainly not reproductions, which denotes knock-offs. They are the same high quality that Le Creuset demands of their products. You should know the difference between the stone products and the enameled cast iron products. 07-11-16
Rated 2 out of 5 by knock-off i love le crueset cookware. when i recieved this I noticed it was a knock-off from the real le crueset, the same with all the other pieces i bought 07-10-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by not a "SIGNATURE" LE CREUSET This item is a Chinese reproduction, is not made in LE CREUSET, FRANCE. It is imported from CHINA who is using the name at the French manufacture's permission who have a contract with them. Note that The "Signature" ones are a lot more expensive and the way you can tell is by looking at inside the Lid or at the bottom, the real LE CREUSET will have FRANCE engraved. Of course made in China can be very good. The Chinese always knew how to work with cast iron or fine China, etc. 03-18-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful functionality I am by no means a chef, but I do have a few signature dishes. I have some truly gorgeous Le Creuset cookware that I bought -- no joke -- over 20 years ago, that is still in excellent shape. But I'm a woman with a newly renovated kitchen, and I wanted some new cookware. Of course, I'm staying with Le Creuset! I ordered this casserole dish and a skillet, as well, in the Marseille. Visually, it's stunning. The key point, though, is that this cookware braises, sautees, grills, bakes, etc. evenly and perfectly each and every time. It is pricey, that's for sure, but I know that this set will be the last set I ever have to buy (unless I renovate/redecorate again. Ha!) 09-13-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Le Creuset Purchased as a gift for my mom and had it shipped directly to her for her birthday. We got it in the palm color. She was over the moon, and can't wait to make all our favorite family bakes in it. Highly recommend! 06-24-15

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful dish I purchased this in red, a beautiful color, and it was a good price. Used it to serve at a meeting we were hosting. Felt great about it. 09-01-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well Worth the Money Beautiful, even heating, easy cleanup, durable for a lifetime. I have purchased other brands for 25 years now and wish I had started with Le Creuset to save money over time because this stuff wears like iron and makes baking so much better. All cooking show chefs use Le Creuset and I see why. Sometimes you really get what you pay for and Le Creuset is worth it. 05-19-14
