Inferior to Laur'a Phenomenal Foundation
Like many others, I used Laura Gelller's Phenomenal Foundation for years and had an Auto-Ship order. The only "complaint" was with the pump dispenser, which was sometimes defective. Last year, I understood from the manager of Laura's NY store that they were aware of the pump defect and were working on a new delivery system. Instead, without warning so we could stock up (I had unfilled Auto-Ship dates), they changed the formula -- Take Cover is thicker than Phenomenal and does not spread smoothly -- and increased the price for a smaller bottle of foundation that is inferior to Phenomenal.
Laura: please bring back Phenomenal! Until then, I will find another brand of foundation.

Disappointing
I had used the Phenomenal Foundation for several years and loved it. Since it's no longer available , I tried this foundation in the medium shade and it is so orange. I hate it and will have to find another brand of foundation.

Nice Foundation
I usually cannot wear liquid foundation because it makes my face oily, this doesn't do that. It also looks real on my face. I don't look like a clown when I wear this. It blends in my face nice and the color is perfect. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesn't cover everything completely used along. I also use Laura's spackle and balance -n- brighten which I may say I will NEVER be without. These three products used together for me personally cover my flaws. I just had to practice a bit so everything would balance out and not look like to much on my face. Laura's products ROCK! Thanks Laura!!!

Not thrilled!
After using Laura's Phenomonal foundation for years and finding it's no longer available, I ordered the Take Cover Anti-Aging. I chose the "Fair" shade which was a mistake. I should have stayed with the "Light" shade. My preference has to be the Phenomonal! I will not re-order the Take Cover.

Not for me!
I used Laura Geller's foundation for years and was on auto delivery. But last year I noticed a difference in the foundation its quality and smell not to mention the irritating dispenser. So I was thrilled to see this new product only to be disappointed once again. I ordered light because that is what I have always ordered and been pleased with. But this light is too dark and orange for my skin. The dispenser is much improved but that doesn't help much when the product isn't up to par. Not paying $6.50 to return. I'm done!

Way Too Orange
My first Laura Geller product and was so looking forward to getting it. I really like the foundation I was using from a well known quality manufacturer but thought I would try this. It is really orange on me and not attractive at all. The consistency is nice and I do wish the color would have worked out. Sadly, must return it.

Not for Irish girls
If you have milk-white Irish skin this is way too dark. I got the lightest one and it was way way to dark. However, I gave it to a friend of my and it fine on her. So the product is okay, but if you are super pale it won't work.

Middle 50's and makes my skin look youthful
Dewy, moderate coverage but I do spot conceal as with all my foundations.
It's as good as YSL's newer one I think! I'm light but not pale white
and this light is a TRUE neutral! And not too light in color (dislike looking ghostly in most light shades I order) ...perfect neutral light to maybe even a lighter skinned medium)
I was in glad to NOT see pink or orange in this. I just bought it and love it. I use other foundations, love trying different ones during the week but reach now.
My skin is dry so it works great-but it is not a greasy product at all. Not heavy and buildable....I like that aspect.
I do not care for too much in her line but I'm very happy with what I *do* have of hers and this makes me think she is really getting things right over the years. Great product worth every penny and so much in the bottle too! TY Laura, you are a fun and innovative lady

best ever foundation
This is the best foundation I have ever used. I am 80 years old, so have tried many. I first got this in a set and was so happy to see it come back on the air. It really makes your face glow. I feel so much younger when I wear this. I also really like the primer. Will never use another product.

Very impressed!
I'm new to the Laura Geller line and this is one of my first products to try. I was so intrigued by the swatch I tried in the store to the point that I came back the next day and purchased it. I applied this with a traditional paddle brush using short strokes and started off with a thin layer and then building it up a little. I have the shade Light and this is a great match for me. The final look was so natural, a couple of people at work asked what foundation I used that day. When I got home from work I looked in the mirror and the foundation had lasted all day. Very excited about this and anxious to explore more of her products!

Why did they scrap the tinted moisturizer?
I tried this foundation when they stopped making my beloved tinted moisturizer. It is heavy, cloggy, and makes me break out. Unfortunately, the exact opposite of Laura's product that I loved. So unhappy that she just stopped making tinted moisturizer. And this product IS too orangy... I wish there were another alternative... but this one will just not do.

This is a Great Foundation!
This makeup is so creamy. It just glides onto your face. The coverage is great, but you may have to build it up to really cover brown spots, which it does beautifully. When I first received this, I couldn't wait so I applied some without moisturizer (which I always have to use), and couldn't believe how it just glided on my dry 61 year old skin. It is always hard to find a shade that is right for me due to my fair, light, ruddy complexion. I tried the light and it is a perfect match.
