A94961 - Laura Geller "Moon Shadow" Eye Rimz & Shadow Duo
Hot Hot Firewater!
My daughter borrowed the Firewater eye shadow and it looked so good on her that she was going to order it herself. I decided to gift it to her and buy myself another one. This eye shadow creates a beautiful upper Eye Rimz when used with a wet brush. Now one of our favorites!
I got this eye shadow because I have blue eyes and thought it was look nice and it does. I was ify on where this to work but I even apply the liner wet and it just looks black from a couple feet away so they only get a glimse of the sparkles when I look down or are up close which I think is nice. The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars is because I wish the two colors were switched so you get more all over color. But great products, lasts all day too!
To much little girl glitter!
I purchased both colors and they are really pretty, BUT.......... these are not as silky looking as some of her other baked eyeshadows. When you apply these they look like you put GLITTER SPECKS on your eyes and it goes everywhere. Sorry but I had to send them back. Maybe they would be good for small children playing dress up.
Note for us Older Gals
Loved the product but did not realize it had so much shimmer. Maybe would be
fine for younger ladies but I'm in my 70's and do not need the glitter look. Would love
to have this same product without the shimmer.
I purchased both colors. They are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! The pink shimmer is to LIVE for. I would like more of the shadow but I'm so impressed with the product. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Wears well. So much fun to use and the application was easy with an angled brush along the lashes. I love the colors and looking forward to purchasing the green version.
I like the pink and expected the darker color to be more of a plum;purple, but it was coming of almost as black. Also, both colors are just toooooo shimmery and its hard to wipe the shimmer off from under my eyes, after applying the foundation and etc. on. would return it lost the package.
Sweeping the glitter away...
I bought the Midnight Magic and I'm surprised at how much glitter there is in the shadow. I had to dust the excess pink glitter off my face - not crazy about that! I may keep it for the pretty dark plum Eye Rimz. Overall...ehhh.
in a class of their own from other shadows
was skeptical on ordering because of sparkle and that I am a woman over 65.
received both today-after experimenting with them a few times, impressed with the beauty of these colors and how they enhance even these old eyes.[brown]. would probably wear the midnight magic more for day and use dry, softer more natural.firewater lighter hand in day and dry,[less sparkle] softer.firewater is a color all its own,not really blue nor green, really does make the eyes pop. that is pretty good for one of my age. I am not much for the glitter, but u can work with these and make them work for day. feel these 2 colors will work with what ever I am wearing. firewater will be awesome for a jewelblue dress that I am wearing to my granddaugthers wedding.makes all my other shadows look blah!!
I absolutely love this duo! The Firewater colors work great on my hazel eyes. The shadow goes on easily and lasts all day. Mt only complaint is that the champagne color is such a small amount that I am almost out of it but still have almost a full blue-black liner. Laura- please reverse the product amounts, more highlighter color and less liner, the liner lasts so long to begin with and you really don't need as much liner as you do the lighter shadow.
Midnight Magic is right!
Midnight magic for sure! These shades make my hazel eyes POP! It doesn't look unnatural either- which is important to me. Make more shades!
There is a lot of shimmer in this eyeshadow. Of course, the colors are stunning.
I'd love to see this in a matte. I prefer her shadows that came in her little 6 piece try me set here on QVC.
Great Eyeshadow & Liner
Received this a few months ago and thought would try first as I have written reviews after first using or seeing and well didn't work so now I know that this works and really brings out my blue eyes. I bought the firewater and use the blue to line and also into the crease and the light color as a highlighter and blend on eye. The color stays for the day and if I want more staying power I wet the brush. I like this and use the champagne color also as a highlighter on my cheeks. I think its a good product and wish she would make more colors.
