LOGO by Lori Goldstein Shirred Anorak with Ruffle Collar
This is nothing but an overpriced windbreaker. The shape is not flattering, sleeves too long, and you have to bend over to your knees to start the zipper. Obviously, going back.
Please bring back in more colors!!
I would buy every color of this jacket. I love it. Great for summer or layering in fall. I'm just sad that there isn't my size in the olive. I have the purple and it is perfect. LOVE.
Unique & Stylish
I love Lori's funky, stylish pieces. I bought this in fatigue green and really like that it's different from many outerwear designs that feature ruffles. (I don't necessarily like ruffles cascading down the front of garments, but that's me!) I always get compliments when I wear this, which is nice. Also it fits perfectly--I find it extremely helpful to always check the link next to the words, "To see the specific garment measurements for this item, click here", as the various designers size their garments a bit differently. Believe me, this saves me lots of headache! Anyway, love this anorak; just love it.
Perfect little spring coat!
I ordered the purple color in my normal LOGO size (XS) and it's perfect. After reading the reviews, I was afraid this would be too big, but I like my outerwear to be a bit big so I can layer. I love the fit. As to the zipper, just be a little careful with it. The ruffled collar is soooo flattering to the face. I had to replace my spring coat as my daughter borrowed mine and it disappeared at a school event - now that I have this coat, the loss may have been a good thing! I think I will wear this often (with my Lori tops)!
Love this little jacket!!!
I just received the violet color today. I just absolutely love it!! Because I read the reviews I sized down and ordered a medium where I usually wear a large in logo. I like it so much that I ordered the fatigue color. It is perfect for travel and rainy weather. No problem at all with the zipper. I just love all of logos line!! Keep it coming Lori!!
My favorte lightweight cover-up, rain or shine
received this the moss color and have had many many complements from both men and women. light as a feather and packs w/o wrinkling. It's chic, new and will be in fashion for years to come. a newclassic.
I've been shopping on Q for a long time and only recently discovered the LOGO line. This is the funnest, coolest piece of spring--fall outerwear I've ever owned. I'm a fairly consistent Q 1x (5'8") so I ordered 1x--the fit is perfect and I'm not a perfect body by any stretch. Super cool and a little funky, slimming, great details...I LOVE this piece!! I have had NO trouble with the zipper whatsoever. I got both colors. I'll be looking at this line A LOT MORE in future!
great looking anorak
runs large beautiful fabric i bought the xxs rather than my normal xs qvc size in green a nice shade of army green. stylish high fashion for a fair price.
The larger sizes appear to be small..
These jackets appear to run very small in the larger sizes. I ordered an XL and was sent a 1X. Even this was too small in the shoulders although okay everywhere else. Something was just not right so back it goes. Some manufacturers "chop" sizes - that is if they only have 8 of one size and the order is for a dozen, they label a size smaller with the size ordered- I wonder is this isn't what happened? I liked the styling but the fit was way off.
Pretty, but poor fit
I love Lori's clothes and have a number of them. Was thrilled when I first saw this coat and ordered immediately. Unfortunately, it went back the same day. The color is beautiful, but the fit, not so good. At 5 ft 6 in., I have a curvy figure. The top part of the coat fit great and I loved the ruffled sleeve. The bottom of the coat was the problem. It cupped the "rear" and then the fabric swept inward, toward the thigh/knee, rather than sweep straight or more A line. Needless to say it was not flattering. If the coat were about six inches shorter or made to sweep out or A line---I would buy it immediately.
Great fashion design
I get compliments every time I wear this jacket. I do agree that the fabric lining the inside of the zipper causes problems by catching and getting the zipper stuck. If it were anchored down it would not do this and would then deserve 5 stars.
ACTUALLY THE ZIPPER IS FINE ... THE FACING IS AT FAULT.... IMPOSSIBLE TO ZIP WITHOUT CATCHING THE FABRIC... I MANAGED TO FIX IT BUT "MARKED" THE FABRIC AND IF THIS HAPPENS SEVERAL TIMES THE FABRIC WILL TEAR....
I LOVE THE STYLE AND THE FABRIC SO I WILL KEEP IT BUT HAVE TO FIX THE PROBLEM...
THERE ARE 3 OPTIONS :
1- NEVER ZIP THE ANORAK... LOL
2- USE HOLLYWOOD TAPE TO KEEP THE FACING IN PLACE
3- SEWING TOGETHER FACING AND FRONT ANORAK ALONG ZIPPER AT 1/4 INCH. FROM THE EDGE.....
